i see a few people on my friends list playing this game, and ive played through the demo twice and plan to buy it as well. intrested in hearing other peoples opinions.
It's not bad. I'm a huge fan of the comics and it really does a great job dropping the player into the tense Walking Dead world. The game mostly plays like a series of cut scenes with a few decisions to make and fewer action sequences. But, the comic is more about the characters and less about the zombies which is why I don't mind the unusual game balance.
Definitely a fan. It plays out like one of those old "Choose Your Adventure" game books. Almost done the first one, looking forward to playing through it a 2nd/3rd time to see the different outcomes. Little things like checking every drawer to find a walkie talkie. Or having luckily picked up a shotgun shell before I needed it, lol. Good fun, and for only $5 I was pleased with my purchase.
im really hoping that the game leads you in some dark places like the comic does, ive always been a big fan of games like heavy rain and dragons lair imo this is a genre of games that has huge potential for story depth. if this game does well perhaps we'll see it continue beyond the 6episodes.
my wife was mad that i saved *spoilers* doug instead of carly *end spoilers* great first episode, im really looking forward to the next.
I figured saving the tech geek would be better than saving a reporter that was out of bullets.
yup i was thinking the same thing, bullets are going to be rare in a world over-run by zombies. lol the reaction my wife had was freaking priceless though...
I had a great time as well, I like the fact that they give you three different slots to save games in. My wife actually sat down and watched me play this just like she was watching and episode of the show. For 400 MP points I would definitly reccomend it.
