Knight wins his first race!
Such an epic moment I thought I would dedicate a thread to it 
Helped I admit by the disappearance of sWhite but starting from near the back it took a while to make my way through the pack to set off after Parcells who was up the track some 800mtrs. There was no doubt in my mind I was going to catch him, but would I survive the overtake? that was the question in my mind as I closed to the point we both knew it was on the cards. Parcells defended in pure BTCC fashion shutting the door on me twice in no uncertain manner.
Not a word spoken by either of us as we battled for a couple of laps, however I waited and sure enough he slid wide and left the door open long enough for me to get by. From that moment on it was just a matter of keeping consistent, and getting enough of a lead for a comfortable pit stop. I came out in a comfortable second and just made the best of the new tires to keep the lead I had built up once Parcells pitted. Then an easy jaunt to the line...I also lapped someone, no idea who but that was the icing on the cake, remembering that had been my fate in my first race.
Church I used your alp tune, made life interesting with no airo but did the job obviously.
So a very happy Knight

Well done - that first win is always the most important win, now it isn't about the winning - its about going faster and gettting better each time you get out.
Parcelles can defend very well on the track, he does have the ability to make passing very difficult for very experianced drivers. He isn't slow either.
So well done both for keeping it clean and good work knight, you are improving very quickly. I'll be keeping my eye on the rear view, i'm sure others will also! :)

@Tourni...For sure, for me almost more important than the win was the fight through the pack and that tussle with Parcells. A long way from the tentative and nervous driver of a few weeks ago. Next one is Silverstone a far more technical track...I am going to have to work hard to get a podium there. sWhite, Sherb and Parcells in particular are not going to make my life easy. Ant is also going to be gunning for me I'm sure. Then there are my fellow rookies like Shadders who will also be itching to get in among it...So if you'll excuse me I have some laps to run
Will get u a tune for Silverstone sent tomorrow. After I have played with my Transit. Seriously cannot wait

Heh, not even close...right car and right track and yeah I'm a contender but as an all round racer? a long way to go. But thanks mate I owe a lot to my teachers :-)
Good man, yeah the tranny is one of the two cars in the pack I'm looking forward to...gotta do something about a race or two with these.

Yeah just spent the past 20 min getting photos of my work van so I can have a bash at doing it in the game. If not I may be asking for someone to do me a one off. Will pay millions of fredits if needed

Totally off topic, but I logged into the "spare" account I shunt some paints off to and I have roughly a half million Fredits laying there...
Oh, and I have a VW beetle/Mini Cooper fight going on ON my S/F, both at roughly 250 DL's each...
...does anyone have a really good VW Beetle tune? I should drive the damn thing if everyone's downloading it...
