I mean, why would anyone use the fastest car for this RIVALS event? I think he needs to check his attitude at the door, because alot of people had already run times for this Rival event before this bounty hunter thing came around. I know I did that to earn some credits. It's not like I ran it to beat him, I ran it to keep up and beat everyone else. Then I ran your tune to regain my place after I got bumped out of the top 2000
And since he doesn't have time to type in 5 digits and a decimal point in his thread, I'm finding it hard to type in 7 letters to search for him in the game(something I've done with all the other BH's). At this point I'm done with his thread and whatever times he posts or doesn't post in the game.
SlowOwl himself has been pretty much "too busy" to do anything--including posting his current time in the OP. But he did spend some time justifying why he isn't putting any of the sorry, half-hearted times in the OP. And he took a shot at everyone that was posting their times using the LB Elise.
Look, I understand you have a thankless job of being a FM.net mod. But no one held a gun to your head and said that's what you had to do. Frankly, their attitude stinks, but we all already know that.

Looking at the Class/PI I'd say he may have used the DirtT tune to boot.
I also think it's very lame that he is purposely driving shit cars with an automatic, then boasting that he's driving shit cars with an auto. Just be a fucking man and run a real time. There's a lot of people that have to put alot of time in these to beat the bounty even when the target isn't bullshitting around.
I had a good time, dated 4/6, and had to go back in and post a better time to get it inside the time frame needed...
But he alludes to a time in the 18's seemingly like that may be as far as he goes...or he may not, who knows?

The prize is a download code for the May DLC. I Think they're only offering one code as a prize. IMHO, T10 could afford to hand out a few more.

It's crazy how .2 or .3 faster moves you so far up the leaderboard.. I'm 14.983 (1737) and hearing he's trying to get faster makes me a little nervous.. LOL
Looks like the 15.254 will stand as of 11:11 am and a post from Owl. Timberwolf says he's finalizing a tune on it as we speak as well. Should turn out to be a nice package.

Didn't update OP, didn't add final time to topic title and waited to the last minute to run a real time and even thought he would go faster? WTF is this guy fucking smoking?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I don't follow the forums, but I had a feeling he was going to do something like that.. Most will set a good solid time at the beginning and let it ride, you know, like a REAL competition...
Yeah--he thought it was really funny because his subsequent posts towards the end were like he was hunting like an owl. "Put up another time, and xxxx more tasty morsels" or something like that.
Unfortunately he doesn't seem to get it. The community was supposed to hunt him, not the other way around.
I guess he just doesn't understand that not everyone can play at any given time, and that a 12 hour window to beat his final time is not enough for a large portion of the community. These are supposed to engage the community and keep people involved in the game. Alienating the community and being standoffish does nothing but serve his own ego.
Bit harsh that the time was set on the last day of the comp. I made sure I beat his time on the night of the 30th as that was the last time I'd get to have a go considering I'm at work all day. So being in the UK the last time I got to play and set a time was very late on Monday night. Only to see that the time was beaten after I'd packed up for the night at gone midnight on the 30th. I really wanted this one too as its such an awesome livery. Is it just me or have all the other bounties got their final times in with a day or two to spare to allow people good time to beat them or at least have go?
Just for your information, even though the rules allow for running a time completely from the beginning to the end, I did 11 or 12 runs in this Bounty Hunter. That was all. I previously posted in here that it wasn't a "last minute" thing, in fact about 13 hours before the deadline, after which I took some time with my wife. I had been busy during the rest of the week, and actually didn't start running the car everyone else seemed to jump into until I believe the last four or five runs.
