lol. So far looks cool. Looks like large open world to explore. Different kinds of creatures and enemies that require different strategies to kill, but also there is varied strategies for each creature. There are many combat moves from what I saw. The only complaint was that the demo didn't provide me with any sense of the effectiveness of my different moves. So Other then listening to my pawns when they told me to go for a certain weak spot or whatever I felt a little confused in what I should do. Otherr then that had a blast killing a griffen and a chimera. as well as weak little manageable mobs, of harpies and goblins.
The story from whyat little I saw looks like it will be good as well. I do believe this will be a day1 purchase for me.
Ya I pre-ordered last week. Here is a quick little vid showing off some of the high level spells of the sorcerer. You will have fun using those let me tell ya.
Did you think of putting a co-operative mode in? Was it too great a technical undertaking?
Actually, from the very beginning, we didn't have any plans for multiplayer. The reason being is that we wanted to focus on the single-player experience while being able to use network functions.
A big reason for that is that we wanted to let players make their own character as well as their main pawn. So their pawns weren't actually other people playing, but were ones that you had made and levelled up through the game.
add co-op, but it seems like standard fair in rpg's. But ya I woulda loved some mp monster hunting. Maybe they will port monster hunter frontier to NA. Or maybe you would all like to join me on the wii for Monster hunter tri?
Man, Monster Hunter, that is one title amongst about four or five that would justify a Wii purchase. I need to simply steal my in-laws' since they never play without my kids there.

Heres a really thoughtful and quirky preview of the game. Bunch of stuff I never knew before. I am sold on the game now.
