welcome jd, we also have a decent sized contigent from the euro side on most nights. so come out on wed for track night. its a more casual experience than the competive stuff going on and usually good fun, just watch out for that church guy
Hi folks, figured I should introduce myself after lurking for a while.
My names Steve, I'm a 29 year old Architectural Ironmonger from Essex in the UK. My Xbox GT is FLUENTC0DE (the 0 is a zero!), feel free to shoot me a friend request if you like non competative hooning around on Forza. I play mostly at weekends due to the good womans gaming restrictions (that's not strictly true, I just feel bad if I hog the TV all week) and enjoy anything up to and including A class racing.
In the real world I'm a car nut too. True to my Essex roots it's all about the Blue Oval though. I'm currently driving a Mondeo ST (Contour SVT to those of you the wrong side of the Atlantic) and trying to hunt down a decent Capri for a V8 project to keep me warm next winter. I look forward to more evenings on the track with you guys.
If you don't mind me being a lazy youngster I'll just copy most of what I wrote in the Forza Series;
Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd introduce myself and am hoping that you let me stay even though I'm not yet 25 (two months left).
I'm a 24 year old guy from Sweden, currently studying Marketing and Sales at university and working part time at a Toyota/Mitsubishi/Hyundai/Peugeot dealership. The name's Erik Rausner but most people just call me Rausner!
In real life I'm an absolute car fanatic. When me and my dad went to London he told me my behaviour was slightly Aspergers-like with me reacting to all the exotics rolling around there lol, and even though I'm not diagnozed I live and breathe cars. Spending a lot of time on different car forums now as the Uni studies isn't really making me wealthy and has caused me to drive a 1.6 75bhp Polo as a daily which is hardly as fun as my old Cooper S.
Have been playing this series from FM2 and am deeply passionate about it. Hoping to have a good time with decent fellas that are into a bit more serious racing than the random punters you usually find online. What I lack in age old experience I make up in youthful eagerness to learn ;)
I'm currently away from my apartment for another two weeks so can't get back online until the 26th of May!
My gamertag is Rausner so feel free to add me
Cheers everyone,
Rausner
Oh, and sorry for the bible like length of my introduction ^^
Hey Rausner. I just noticed that you're 24. The sitewide minimum age is 25. I personally don't have a problem with it, but I do have to run it by the site admin. When will you be turning 25?
In a worst case scenarion, you'd be allowed to particiate as a member of the clan, but you may not have access to the forums here until you'r b-day.
Like I said out in the open part and in here I'll be turning 25 in two months time (21st of July). I really hope you guys let me stay as I've been looking for a long time for people to drive more seriously with online :)
Oh, not another "serious" driver....jeez....haha, there's a few of those in here, and a few not, BUT what we do have is respectful drivers...hope to see ya soon on the tracks.
Serious as in driving with people who won't intentionally bump you off the track or drive in the reverse direction. Other than that I don't think I'm more serious than anybody else - It's a videogame, not F1 :P
Ok Rausner. I checked with Doodi & he said we could put you on probation until your b-day. So basically, you'll be able to visit the forums here, but you won't be able to post. Although you should still be able to access everything here & be able to use the sign-up forms for events etc.
I'm sorry to be an ass & do this to you, but unfortunately, it's not my call to make.
In the meantime, I'm going to send you a Fr from our active members gamertag. Then you'll be able to view that tag's friends to find other members until you make some friends on your own list. If there's anything else you should need, feel free to shoot me a mmsg on xbl.

Welcome Rausner.
Might be a bit crappy that you are on hold for a while, but the +25 limit stops most of the Timmys getting in here and spoiling it for everyone.

He's seems to be doing a pretty good job of posting under his probation period, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Maybe Doodi doesn't get around to it for a number of weeks and the next thing you know ole Rausner here will be one of us, boom, problem solved.
But let's keep the probabtion period. We need to tests Rausners mettle...motion passed!
No problem guys, I respect the rules and have no problem with this and am happy that I still get to muck about with you guys on the game in the meantime. Now I have a reason to look forward to my 25th birthday other than getting cheaper car insurance ^^
Hello everyone ! Thanks jcotter13 for accepting my membership request to be part of 2OLD4FORZA. My gamer tag : InkaB0DpaiN the letter"o"is the number zero. I've been mostly playing driving sim games on the PS3 because the only wheel I had at the time was a G27 .This is my first Forza game . I finally got a csr elite wheel and I ' ve been hooked on it from the get go. I suck at tuning and I'm ok driving . I am pretty good at painting . I am a clean racer and stay on my driving lines as best as I can, of course unless there is your typical bumping and rubbing.Anyway send a FR my way and hope to race with guys sometime in the near future. I did see the video for the Trans Am series. Nice video. That is one of the many racing series that I enjoy and would love to participate . Thank you again !
If you play GT5 (how can you not?) and are available Eastern times on Thursday evenings you should check out the GT5 Thursday Nights thread in the series & events sub forum. It'll be hit and miss over the upcoming summer months but we usually get our 8-10 regulars and race for 3-4 hours just about every week and have a blast doing it.
WElcome bro. If you stick around here, we'll make you fast. It's inevitable. Make yourself at home & let u know if you have any questions or if you need anything.
Parcells2, I will try to join you guys on thursday evenings if you can send me a FR, that would help and at what times do you start ? I'm in the eastern time zone and don't get home from work and settle in until about 7p.m. thanks for the invite!
Yes I do need to be faster ! Still not sure if its my driving or my lack of tuning either way any help will be accepted with king kong size open hands ! Thanks !

Gizzi people will start to think I am bit rough or something
Welcome JD
It's not that it's intentional.....it more the fact you can't steer a car careening down the track on it's roof.
Church can steer it Helios, I seen him do it, honestly.
Church drives better upside down than anyone I know!!!

Most of our guys feel worse about knocking someone off the track than the guy that got bumped. You'll be fine here.
i always think in the heat of the moment it can happen to bump .. anyways see you online when you get back
Thanks for the welcoming guys, looking forward to playing with you!
