Sorry guys but I need to forfeit my race against HLR King Cobra, serious RL stuff going on here, have PM'd him to let him know, have also messaged Church to let him know.
Hopefully I will be around again soon, but need to sort things out here.
As I received notification from Naked first spaz you got your competitor
spazsterianVXI MURPH IX
Ian, I believe that your first round just got a lot tougher!!!!!

elieve you'd be right..but after my first little test...i think you guys are sandbaggin on your "posted" times ;)
Spaz, I took a look at the times your running and you have to realize that everyone is going to run withing a second or two with these cars and these tracks. I noticed that I'm about a second faster on the first two tracks and about 2 seconds faster than you at Road Atlanta, that's alot of time on these tracks. There is no "sandbagging" here.
Round 1 matchup - Shaggy SoCal vs. Emezmer scheduled to begin at 10ET/7PT tonight.
We've compared lap times and we're within a coulpe tenths of each other so that should make for some good racin'. The winner will probably be decided by who makes the fewest mistakes.
Unofficial Results (Pending verification from Church).
Shaggy SoCal wins the first two races and advances to round 2.
Very competitve race at Iberian with two lead changes. I was able to get around Emezmer at the start of Race 2 and walk away for the win.
Catalunya was his weakest track, but Atlanta was mine. Had it gone to Race 3, he would have kicked my ass. We ran it Atlanta for kicks and giggles and his best lap was eight tenths faster. I was never able to get the balance right between braking and throttle.
I hadn't raced against Emezmer before, but I would gladly race with him again. He's a good shoe.
Yeah, that was some very good racing Shaggy. Iberian turned out to be the key to our series, and that was one hell of a race. The fact that we each overtook each other on that tight little track without colliding was pretty amazing.
Once again, congrats on the win, and best of luck moving forward.
Family issues are taking me away from xbox indefinitely.....I am forfeiting race to Jarhead.
Damn, that really sucks Surf. I was really looking forward to racing tomorrow. Hope everything turns out ok.

What time were you guys planning on running tomorrow Troy? Pretty sure my race will go as scheduled at 6:00 EST and if you just want to have someone to race against for the pure fun of it I'll give it a go if you can race at a reasonable time (as in not too late). My times are pretty close to yours.

Sounds like fun Parcells. I can get on and spectate your race, then race after you are done if that will work for you.
Knight took Iberian, driving an almost flawless defensive race. I took Catalunya and was lucky to do so. Very ragged.
Atlanta is one of my favourites and it has been a stomping ground since FM2. Fitzy was there, and as he commented that the only difference was in the turn 2 complex. I also, it has to be said, started in pole.

Still not sure if I'll be racing at 6 so if I am I will be on-line and if we end up rescheduling I'll log on at 6:30 EST to have some fun.
Parcells, change of plans. The wife needs me to bring her somewhere after work. I will still get on and race, but I'm not sure what time. I'm thinking it will be around 8:00. If you are still on, we can race.
Well less than two hours to go and I don't think I am going to get through this...no time to practice and poidsly is going to want this. Still shoud be a bit of fun...if I can shake off the nerves that is.

Good luck to the both of you
Mate, i've been screwed with flu the last couple of days. This is anyones.
Don't know if youve noticed but
a. you are getting quick
b. you are very consistent, far more than I am
b. I have bottled and bodged every on line race in the past 2 weeks.
seriously, I have no idea who is going to take this. I am not confident.
Tell Cotter to keep looking at the boobies and keep saying "thats what she said" to what ever he says.
Hahaha. Cayman Interseries tactics!

I think the second round is really gonna seperate the men from the boys!
Looking at the current list I am getting a bit worried. Some big names through already.

Me too Jarhead.....I'll throw you a challenge when I get back online :>). Good luck in round 2. I'll be cheering for ya!
The following people are through to round 2:
BrntGuy
Jarhead xSSGTx
Definitely not the way I planned to get to round 2. I had put in some practice on those tracks and had ok times, nothing like KIWI, but ok for me.
Spark 39.4
Lexus 57.5
Twingo 1:11.8
No worries jarhead. You better win Round 2
