Video Card Requirements
Haven't played a PC game in a long while. Does anyone know if an onboard Intel G33/G31 Express chipset will play this game?
The Blizzard web site says Intel series 4 and below is not supported but I don't know how that relates to the chip set I have.

Just type Diablo 3 in the search box, it'll run a quick diagnostic and tell you if you can run the game or not.
I have an intel chipset on a 1 1/2 year old laptop that I tried it on for fun and it was very sluggish. However, my GTX 560ti doesn't even break a sweat.
D3 tells me every time that I run it that my system doesn't meet the requirements. It's got a dual core 2.4ghz AMD and an ATI HD 4200. I managed to get it to run but i had to cut the resolution down some and use the lowest settings on almost everything. But it works, i gues i can't expect too much from a cheapy 399 laptop
I have a Macbook Pro from 2010.
2.66 GHz Intel Core i7
8GB 1067MHz DDR3 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 512 MB graphics
1680X1050
Runs well on High for all settings and anti-aliasing on. Runs at about 25fps solid
Thanks for everyones help. I bought a GEforce 8400 GS
for $50 bucks and it seems to be working
I have a 2009 Macbook pro and it can barely run on everything low and the worst resolution.
It seems via the diablo 3 forums there are issues with the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M w/ 256 mb of DDR3 SDRAM
They are looking to patch it at sometime.

Mobile chipsets are tricky and will often not provide the right results on systemrequirementslab.
for instance my laptop has a ATI 5650HD (mobile) with 1gb dedicated ram. Systemrequirementslab shows this as barely above required. However I run with everything cranked to high and antialiasing on. No slowdowns or anything. Unfortunately your best bet for determining if it can run it is to find someone else with the same card who IS running it successfully.Either that or try it out on a guest pass first before committing to buy it.
yeah the 9400/9600 are bad right now, as well as mine which I found out after it slowed down to 6fps in Act II (mine's the 330M)
No patch yet. But for me it only happens randomly and sometimes not for hours, but then requires a reboot to fix it.
My desktop runs it no problem as it's a pretty recent build. But I'm happy my work Lenovo can run it. It's an i7 with 8 GB of ram but being a business class laptop it has a shitty video card. It's an NVidia 3100m. It says it's not supported but it runs. I'm getting 30 FPS with the setting on low and it doesn't look that bad.
