Car Liveries:
It is requested but not mandatory that racers attempt to use a historic porchse livery for their cars. Space will be alooted on the signup form to dsignate what livery racers will be driving & their corresponding racing number or the series. That way you can use the number that's already on a locked livery if you have to purchase one.
Please delete this post Cotter. Cheers

Hmm I can't delete your post. I can nedit it, but when I try to delete, it says I don't have permission. Guess I need to msg Doodi.
I've been doing some testing over the past couple of days. This car is extremely competitive. I just want to encourage anyone who's on the fence about joining to give the car a tryi. I'd really like to have a good turnout for this series.
Just to keep things more interesting, I'm thinking of putting a penalty system in place in order to ensure as much parity aS possible between competitors.
Tried the Cayman last night. It rocks. Nicely done Cotter. I am definitely interested in this series.
Nice Gulf livery already done, can't wait to get going.
I picked up a Brumos & Advan Liveries from the SF. There's one dude who's done several replicas of different Interseries cars.
Hey guys, I've been slacking on getting liveries done for this. I'm sorry. That Porsche script on the rocker pannel that can't be painted over is really putting me off. I'll try to get a couple of these done ASAP.
Go on then....

Careful you can't rush these artistic types they can be very temperamental. Take Oldschool for example almost unberable at times.
Creative, we prefer creative...

Snappy, the quickest fix is to paint over it in black, doesn't cover but blends...
or just make it part of your design, which kinda sucks if you're trying something specific, but they are homages not exact replicas.

Well I prefer Blondes but since my wife is a brunette we don't always get what we prefer.
This sounds like an interesting series I can get involved in. Haven't been playing as much Forza since I discovered rFactor, just not the same anymore. I still like Forza though and I have always liked spec series where everyone has the same car. Not to crazy about handicaps though. What I like to do to keep racing close is have multiple short races and reverse the field so the winners from race 1 start at the back for race 2 etc.
I'm going to do a test session this afternoon at 4pm CSt if anyone's interested.
As for your reservations about a penalty system, here's what I've got in mind....
After the 1st event, the top 3 racers will have a powe or gripr reduction penalty (I've still not decided which to use) added for the next event.
1st place=15%
2nd place=10%
3rd place-5%
Then the penaltys will be reduced in 5% increments for those people as long as they finish outside the top 3.
Think of it like the way some SCCA events are done. However since we can't add penalty weight, I'm using penalty power reduction instead.
didn't bother to bring my porsche paints over, wasn't expecting them in fm4.
Anyone working on the hotwheels cayman?
HotWheels Cayman is soooo sweet, if I could, I would make it:
I finally got my connection today, so I´ll be testing the car later tonight...And maybe try some paint too!!!
BTW folks. I'm staking my claim for the #59 Brumos livery now. If there's a specific livery you have in mind, post it here so we don't have a bunch of duplicates running around.
Cotter, I started work on that Brumos and will send it over as soon as it is done.
Staking my claim now for the Coca Cola Cayman.
I'll also bang out a Jeagermeister Cayman in the next couple of days if anyone wants that.
I will take that Jeagermeister if you don't mind Snappy.
Cool, I've already gotten started on it. I'll send it over when it's done.
Here's my whip..almost ready to roll...

I found a Brumos on the Sf Snappy. I'll still take one from you if you're willing. Or I could do y own probably. It's not that hard of a livery really.
Sandeman anyone?
Very nice Shark, very very nice.
nobody showed up for testing today besides Troysloth. I hope the series fares better than the 1st official test session. Otherwise we migh as well shut this down now.
We were all running In Tournis Endurance race at Le Mans at the same time, and I know most of us want to run this series.
Yeah after running the enduro for 1hr 30 odd min a few of us still stayed for a few laps in the beetles (about 6 of us)
Sorry for missing practice Cotter, will definitely try to make it to the next one.
i've had a go at making a Formula 43 Livery (blue with brown/gold stripes), if nobody else has reserved this already I'd like to use it for the series. Oh, and I would post a photo of it if I knew how to!
Refreshing?
It needs polar bears or penguins Snappy! Hah!
Very nice.
Thanks oldschool. Man, I had done so many of these in FM3 but was too lazy to port them over. Oh well.
Finally worked out how to post an image. So, hopefully, here is a photo of my Cayman with Formula 43 livery....
