Really? I am never at a loss for what to build. Build your house, build a skyscraper. Build a castle with a moat or a restaurant, hotel or casino. Build a subway, E-train or Lava park. heheh

When I said I need help, I meant help to stop thinking about the game, can`t concentrate on other stuff.

I found a seed I really like. Problem is, every morning I go out of my house, I am attacked by several spiders and creepers. I am on a small island with no caves. Where are these bastards coming from? What can I do to keep this from happening or is this just something I am going to have to deal with?

Build a glass house, grow shit inside, beastie`s outside.

Monsters require land and a light source of 7 or less to spawn. Torches give a light of 14 that decreases by 1 for every block you get away from the torch. So to keep your island totally monster free you need to plant a torch every 6 blocks, making sure you get around trees and hills and such.
Whatcha also wanna do is build a fence around your house to keep the creepers and zombies and such from clustering around your door. At the gate of the fence you can dig down and pour in some lava, sometimes they'll just walk into that hole and die.

Normal torches give 14, redstone torches give 7. Torches are your best and easiest source for light. Burning netherrock, lava and fire give 15 but they're a lot harder to keep in mass quantity unless you want to build a lava river all around the island.

They're still updating the PC version, too. It could easily stretch into 2014, because its not just a port over from the PC. They're essentially rebuilding the game for the 360 and it'll be interesting to see how it handles all the functionality in the end/as it goes along.
Fun fact, shared elsewhere, Minecraft takes more processing power than Battlefield 3.
I am having difficulties getting a storage mine cart to the same mine i go to. I built 2 seperate tracks then quickly found out the storage cart doesn't have enough weight to keep it going. I read somewhere you could push it with the one you ride in but I tried that and it didn't seem to work too well. I currently have a power rail every 35 blocks. Seems to be the optimal for speed and saving on gold.
Do I need to put a power rail on every other track on the seperate track or just double the amount of power rails on the one I ride and just push it?
I have, and it's awesome. I loved playing with blocks as a kid and this is every bit as fun. It's much more fun with buddies, though.

This game is the devil. I can't quit playing.
I've dreamt of breaking huge 8-bit blocks TWICE now, since starting to play MineCrack.
