Today i noticed i had 19 messages on this site so i decided to take a look.
It looked like every time i posted something , the site sends me a message that.........
.........i posted something
Isn't that a great tool
I deleted them all and will check tomorrow if i got a message about this post
Yeah i noticed that too. I got a total of 21 new messages...They're all from me.
I noticed that when they first changed to the new version. I turned off the notifications in my profile, I think.

i think i've turned it of now so next time i log in the messages should not be there.

well it did not work
I took out all those green v's in settings now and i hope that will work.

Go to Settings - the first screen should be your Account settings. Scroll past your email address, signature, icon, etc to the bottom of the form.
In the section labeled 'Messaging and Notification Settings' I unclicked the two boxes 'Autosubscribe' and 'Automatically enable notifications from any group I join'.
In the section labeled 'Private msg email notification' I unclicked the box 'Receive email notification for incoming private messages'
I think that's all I did to get the private messages and emails to stop.

Yeah i unclicked all those boxes but i think i didn't click the submit button on the bottom so i hope its solved now

Ahhhh, I suppose I should check my messages. I have had no indication that I even have any, but ya never know. If so, I should have 70+ messages if every post gets you notified. Yikes!
