Welcome to resist yaok888

I understand you are a new PS3 owner.  What are you playing or looking forward to playing?  Tell as a little about yourself.

Thanks Blowmonkey,

I'm mainly an FPS guy.  started with Halo/COd and now mainly Battlefield but on X360.

Would like to get into Skyrim but I've got kids and can't get addicted to that right now.

what I'm excited about is Dust 514 free to play on ps3.

my PSN handle is paok888 with a "p" instead of the yaok888 which is my xbox tag.

I'm new to PS3 so be patient  as I figure out how to do everyhting on PSN.

I started a Dust 514 beta key thread on the FPS forum.

evidently CCP games is giving out Dust 514 beta keys if you go to PS HOme E3 2012 virtual booth and do some quests there.

I'll add more details to it once i get off work later on.

Feel free to cross-post info on 2o2r  if you were successful in gettig a Dust 514 beta key this way.

Thanks in advance for all the welcomes!

PS - let me know if PS Plus is worth getting.

I'm mainly FPS so if the monthly freebies don't have a lot of FPS then probably not a good deal for me.

If you get plus you'll get about 6 (maybe more?) retail games to dl right now. Very worth it. It's more of a rental since if you lapse on plus you can't play those 'free' games. Any discounts you get while using plus you keep. Cloud saves and auto updates are nice also.

PS Plus is totally wortth it.

- Automatic system updates

- Automatic backup of game saves to their cloud storage

- Free games to download every month.  This month alone you can download inFamous 2, Little Big Planet 2, Saints Row 2, Just Cause 2, and Ratchet & Clank: All4One and I think about 6 more mini games.

thanks for the PS Plus tips.

as for Nosferatu, Congrats on the twins - good luck on getting sleep.

I'm pretty burned out on Battlefield 3, hence my looking forward to Dust 514 and maybe Planetside 2 for PC.

and I don't even have BF3 on PS3, I only have it for Xbox since the PS3 version has had big issues with input lag and other bugs.

I'm off to update the Dust 514 thread in the FPS forum so if any of you are interested, read up over there.
