So, I took a stab at the 360 laps at Le Mans. Made it to 278 laps, 23 hours, and got disconnected. Has anyone made an attempt at completing this race? If so, how far did you make it? Or not make it?
How many if any breaks did you take? My hat goes off to you. There is no way on earth I would even attempt this. Would do it if I could stop and save along the way. But 24 hours. Youth is wasted on the wrong people. My best years are behind me.
This could be fun to do if you could get 3 of your buddies over to drive in stints. But running as a one man show, my hats off to you. I couldn't even attempt that.
If I needed all 17 I might give this 5 mins of consideration. I only need a couple though (and none that interest me) so now there's even less than no chance I'd do this
Realistically, all I want is the BMW, and I don't see me having time for something like that for the next 3-4 weeks, so I'm probably going to be spared the experience...
It would be nice to have them all for the paint opportunities though.
My boy and I spent about an hour finding a lobby that didn't start already. (Cuz I'm really going to sit and wait for someone to finish 108/360 laps for a lobby.) We were both at our own houses with our own XBox. No switching. I don't understand why they made this an online hopper instead of an offline or rivals mode. I should of known right there not to attempt this. After we finally got rolling every 2 hours we were taking 10 minute breaks to strech and go for a walk. After 23 hours on lap 278 I got disconnected and sent back to the Forza Main Menu. He was still in the race by himself. But, shortly thereafter got disconnected as well. As soon as I got disconnected I e-mailed the photo into the contest, I posted on their Facebook, posted on their Twitter, posted on the Forums, messaged Mechberg, phredesigns, and johniwanna, and I still haven't got a word on what to do. I stated that I was willing to do another 100 laps either online or offline in Hot Laps. AFTER I got booted I read on the forums that you could of done the race in Hot Laps to begin with. WELL... I don't f**king read forums at all, only the week in review so how the hell was I suppose to know? I also read that it this race was for all the unicorn cars and some other junk.. They have now posted the list of "official" people who completed the race... http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/display.aspx?id=32212254721&blogid=71 To me it seems they are going to avoid the issue and it is what it is. If you didn't actually finish the race they don't care and its done. If this is the case and I don't receive anything, I will be selling my FM2, FM3, and FM4 collectors editions with all the cars and tracks on CD for anyone to use along with a couple codes. I will also have 60,000,000CR and 300 cars on FM4 to giveaway. 58,000,000CR and 500 cars on FM3. And the FM franchise is dead to me. I am giving them a week to say something, if not, I'm done.

While I appreciate and recognize anyone's effort for attempting this massive, gruelling and difficult challenge, the goal was to complete it in the allotted time and we have to move on.
I am utterly astounded this many people attempted it and how many actually did it. May your fingers and eyes rest well.
I'm sorry to hear you got a raw deal. This would have been better suited for a Rivals mode event, just like you said, where the player could pause and take a break. Maybe even get some sleep then get back at it.
I hope they do something to make you whole. I'd hate to see you leave the franchise, but after that, I wouldn't blame you either. Keep us posted.
If Turn 10 does nothing it says ONE thing...Disrespect for it's users. If you have any documentation, which I believe you stated, only intelligent responsible people would make a responsible response. The problem with Turn 10 as well as Microsoft (TO ME) is they are out of touch. They alienate their base with illogical and incompetent decisions. They don't acknowledge their problems and when and if they do it is after you are so fed up with the wait you just don't want to play anymore. I have ragged (Here) about Turn 10's and Microsoft problems until I am tired of dealing with them. I try to rally to race again only to get booted or not being able to even start a race. Now... there will be those that encounter problem after problem after problem and still come back everyday with a smile on their face and praise Turn 10 and Microsoft no matter how many times they (Ass Lickers) bend over and get it up their butt...NOT ME!...Fuck 'EM!
After getting most of my posts banned by mods on the forums and messaging devs until my fingers bleed, T10 and I have come to an agreement. It's not what I wanted but, at least I got some form of compensation. I started a thread on the forums (http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/forums/thread/5510294.aspx) and there are a couple people who have it worse than me. One guy finished the race but, waited at the finish line for 40 minutes so his boy could finish. They both took pictures and e-mailed it in. The kid who finished last got on the list but, the kid who waited an extra 40 minutes did not. If there is ever another event like this, you can count me out. It is still going to take me a while before I play Forza again. I am still disappointed in the way T10 handed the entire event.
