Northwest Get-To-Gether... September...
I've been contemplating something like this for awhile and almost posted it last year but ended up getting too busy.
Here's what I propose:
The Evergreen State Fair is running at the beginning of September and well, the Evergreen Speedway is right in the middle of it. :) I was thinking it would be a great time to get a bunch of us together from the Northwest area, head to the fair, have some beers and fried fair food, then watch some racing of some type. What do you guys think?
Things at the fair seem a little tenatively scheduled at the moment... However, it would be on either a Saturday or a Sunday, most likely in the afternoon/evening. The racing always starts in the evening.
There are a few different types of racing/events. There is real racing one of the nights and consists of the following:
I'm potentialy in. Monroe is only about an hour & a half from me. I haven't been to Evergreen since I saw a winged midget/super mod race several years ago.

If i can A: get time off of work, B: afford a flight, then I'll be there!
Lol Jon.....maybe you do stink or something. I'd like to commit but will have to wait until it gets closer. Money is a bit tight for us and I'm not sure I will be able to make it. Is this clan only or are we allowed to bring family also?......no screaming babies I promise. I do appreciate know about it early tho...gives me some time to plan ahead.
Bring whoever you want. :) It's more about hanging out in person and having a good time.
I am interested. It would be about a 6 hour drive for me from Eugene, but it sounds worth it.
I'm also interested. I'm a little hesitant to have to see all your ugly mugs in person, but what the hell! :)
