No more custom armor in halo 4?
The reason I think this, is if you look at the preorder bonus for the special edition they will give you a "unique" armor skin for preordering. I think they will ditch the armor customizing. To me, it seemed kind of pointless the only time you really get to see it is in the lobby screen and people really dont take time to look at you in mp. I can also see the credit system being ditched, in favor of getting armor skins each time you rank up, or maybe even unlocking weapons or weapon add-ons.
Who knows though, we wont know until November.
I noticed certain armor in MM, like when people used EVA, Pilot, or Security helmets. Their larger face shields made them stick out. Easy sniper pickings.
I am fairly sure there will be custom armour. The skins seem to be a separate feature and suit some armour better than others.
This Bulletin entry pretty much confirms custom Armour in MM.
Say what?
I think it's a safe bet to say we will have more armor customization in Halo 4. The customization we had in Reach will probably seem like the tip of the iceberg once we get our hands on H4. On top of the mixing and matching of armor pieces, we have skins for armor and weapons. Who knows what else we'll be getting, but I'm fairly certain we'll have a wide assortment of goodies to unlock.
While this customization may seem pointless, I like making my own Spartan. I also enjoy looking at what others have done with their armor - it's fun to scroll through while waiting in the lobby or searching for a game.
