So lets play with each others pawns. We need more buddies as there are only 2 others on my friends list and bothe their pawns are archers. Sti worx and all but still need some variety and I wanna play with 2o2p`s pawns. Not some strangers lol.
I got a tank pawn named brynhildr. She is supposed to be a tank but she slacks off in her duties from time to time to grab loot. My bad I said once that it would be nice if she picked up loot now and then. She thought I meant pick up loot, let me die. lol Anyway in the process of fixing that. She is starting get in there and take the aggro now.
Thorn. You gotta level up. Katie dies all the time. Well its not so much her level as man that girl is aggressive. Holy frakk is she aggressive. My tank wont go after beasties as boldly as katie.
Dp17 your archer on the other hand is not aggressive at all. lol She is doub;e my level and hides in the backÉ lol She does go out and grab downed pawns for me so i don`t gotta put myself in harms way but its bizarre.
I know their behavior stems from the mentoring system . To bad they couldn`t streamline it a bit and make it obvious as to what is actually happening. Anywho trying to fix my pawn and have her be a guardian as primary role and not looter. here is to hoping.
Well my pawn is now guardian as primary role and i think pawn retriever as secondary. Hopefully it worx out better now. I do feel like the heat is off me moreso now then before and katie does live longer. Tally hoe stalwart companions!

I dig it! Its got a turned based feel with the fighters, magic users and dps, but its all in real time. Plkus hunting down giant beasites on a console is Aces dude. I am the Arisen. If you are a fan of RPG's I recommend this title. Its a must own like Skyrim.
The only time Katie dies in my game is when an Ogre or Cyclops throws her off a cliff or something like that. I have her set aggressively because my character is a tank, we can take out a Chimera in about 30 seconds with another tank and a mage. The only thing that really gives us any trouble are the Golems, and that's due to one of the crystals being in his hand. My character can almost one hit most foes with the exception to bosses and the Saurians. I absolutely love this game despite it's bad reviews, and minor flaws.
I noticed she is now a ranger instead of a strider. Can't wait to see how that affects her gameplay. Ya her style as a strider was somewhat suicidal when the arisen is a mage. The party is an interesting dynamic that relies on many parts to be balanced properly. I noticed DP's pawn is now a challanger as primary role. Thats what I need Brynhildr to be as I image a challenger distracts the baddies. Oh well whenever I figure it out I will do it.
Another thing to keep in mind when hiring Pawns, is too many females in your party will cause certain enemies to frenzy the whole time you are fighting them, causing the fight to be more difficult than it has too be.

I just picked up the game today, so I'm going to try and figure out things this weekend, then I'll be comfortable with this whole Pawn borrowing stuff!!!
It will neve be comfortable seeing your pawn go off with some stranger. Knowing that for the price of a few rift crystals they can make them do whatever they want! No sir there is nothing comfortable about it. lol I hate when people give my pawn a bad appearance rating. I think the germanic she-dwarf is awesome. Anywho, I'll send ya a request or you me so I can start using your pawn.
Oh btw the encampment outside the starting village has a vendor that sells potions u can use to change your pawns role. Definetly worth the investment and btw thorne, Katie is only using one weapon skill and has no attunements! NOOO>>.....
Ha finally beat the game lol. Woulda happened sooner cept i screwed up my first savesd game not realising then end of the game was a puzzle. What an odd way to end the game but I did like it.
Yeah, it was definitely a strange ending, nat a bad game at all, glad I bought it.

If you have nothing else to play right now, it would be a great game to fill the gap. I would still be playing, but Dawnguard dragged me back to Skyrim. Funny thing is though, I haven't even done anything with Dawnguard since I wanted to start a new character for it, I've been to busy with the regular game again. Damn Skyrim crack.
