planechase
Planechase is released online.
It looks like a funny way to play (multiplayer) casual magic.
However its not very cheap for a low-budget dutchman
A pack containing 10 planecards and a 60 card deck costs $ 20 in the shop.
Since it was just released there is not much trading on the secundary market (for now)
Perhaps prices for the planes will come down as time passes and you can add your own deck to it.
But like i said , it looks nice and is probably an interesting way of playing magic.
What is your opinion about planechase ?
I'm thinking about get a Planechase deck it looks like it would be fun can't deside on the colors i want plus $20 is kinda high though maybe I can find it cheaper. I would love to play anyone who would like too it looks like it would be a fun twist.
Well I got me a Planechase deck I got the Choas Reigns deck looks fun plus alot of cards in it I didn't have and the plane cards look very cool. If one of you guys buy one like I did hit me up !! This game is kinda like a drug sometime i feel like a junkie haha

I have no idea what is different about Planechase. Someone enlighten me since I'm too lazy to look it up...

but here is a small breakdown of the new plane cards in the set
Sounds interesting. Does everyone in the game have to have plane cards? Could I play a normal deck and you a plane deck and just use your plane cards?
I'll check into it after the 4th. We have 40 people coming over tomorrow after the parade to swim and cook out. I'm taking Thur and Fri off, so I should have some time to look around at the new stuff.
pH
everyone's got to have a normal minimum 60 card deck and a minimum of 10 planes.
They released 4 new packs this year so with the 4 existing packs there must be 80 planes i think.
You can play your own deck and use planecards that fit your deck.
A planecard has at least 2 abilities....for example
Isle of vesuva >>> whenever a creature enters the battlefield its controller puts a token that is a copy of it onto the battlefield >>>> and when you roll the dice and the chaos symbol appears you destroy target critter and all others with the same name.
I hope single plane's will not be to expensive on the secundary market if more of them flow into the system.
We'll have to wait and see what happens.

Eek! It sounds too complicated for me!
I bought a planechase deck, so if someone want to try it out one night let me know. I don't remember which one I bought, but I'll probably tweak it anyway.

I'll Hit ya up Parott on Friday night if your not busy (6est-8est or so let me know what time is good for ya) I'm going to be at a out-of-town meeting Wednesday and Thrusday or i would play ya sooner. I played my deck right out of the box and it worked out good for me so far. Anyway let me know.
I'm leaving for Nashville Friday noonish for a bachelor party weekend with my best friend. I'll miss Sunday also as I'll be coming back very hungover.

We like hungover opponents so don't be shy.
I won't be able to buy a Planar/ Planechase deck for awhile but if you guys play I hope you leave the game watchable so I can spy and see what the fuss is about.
Without really knowing, I assume is kinda like the avatar games Vanguard or Momir. Great there's a new way to play but not really gonna take off. You just need special cards to play them. For now I'll watch and learn.
I played a solitaire game last night to see how it worked. Yeah, it is like vanguard in that there are 'extra' cards that do things to the game. I bought an old one, not really on purpose, but because for some reason I've been playing artifacts a lot lately. I got 'Metallic Derams' and will be tweaking it with cards I already have.
I may be on tonight, then probably will be offline until early next week.

Well so far it doesn't seem to be a hit![indecision indecision](http://www.2old2play.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/whatchutalkingabout_smile.gif)
From what i read in some comments , people think it is too expensive.
If only there were a few money cards in those decks , people would buy it and those planes would come into the secundary market.
Because its a casual format wizards doesn't want to spend a lot of time/money on it.
But........who knows........time will tell.
