Premium Specter Packs vs Specter Packs

I decided to do something different with the new DLC coming up, save credits. It was pretty tough and I cracked every now and then and bought some packs but for the most part saved all I could for like 5 days. What I got was an impressive sum: 660k credits! Not much compared to some that play all the time but whatever. So I had to ask myself, do I buy premium specter packs (PSP) or regular specter packs (SP) with this vast fortune. I decided to do a little math and here is what I came up with:

Assume you have 1.5 million credits. You can buy 15 PSP or 25 SP and what you get is

PSP - 30 Rare, 30 Gear/Single Use Items and 75 Consumables (Medgel, Rockets, etc)
SP - 25 Rare, 75 Gear/Single Use Items and 125 Consumables (Medgel, Rockets, etc)

Yes you have gotten 5 more Rares but at the expense of 45 Gear/Single Use Items and 50 consumables.

Now, a funny thing happens when you buy PSP and SP. Sometimes you get a bonus Rare card. Assuming that happens 25% of the time, the Rare gap closes (34 Rare PSP vs 31 Rare SP). If it happens 50% of the time, the Rare gap closes completely and breaks even @ 37 Rares.

So really before you decide which pack to buy, first ask yourself "what kind of player am I?".If you are a hardcore player (Always Gold, never dies, etc), then PSP will be for you because the consumables are not important and you most likely only need to max out the Rare/Ultrarare stuff. If you are more of a casual player (Use alot of Consumables) then SP are better over time.
