I don't normally like crazy custom games but last night was a blast. Anybody like myself who isn't the best player and is on the fence about playing, come on out next Thursday, I promise you will have fun.
This is awesome - and with Halo 4 dawning, it sets the stage for us to pull in (and retain) a large crowd of new Halo players looking for an older gamer oasis. Great effort Deep! I'll try to be there next week to join in the fun!

As mentioned in my comment on the main section where this is featured, I will be in on this action as soon as my co-worker finishes up with my copy of Reach and returns it. Yep, AR start on that map is dumb but don't tell Fury. I have him convinced otherwise.
That only works when you keep the range weapons from him. Which we did not.

No FoF, for the moment. I haven't convinced myself it's required. With each person comes a new FL and so on. Some people got in just by sending me a Msg. From that I pick their profile and then send an invite to game.
If I do not have to maintain a GT, it's less work for me. Since this whole effort is about personal choice, I happily let people come and go on their own schedule.
Good times last night. I must have been in the remedial room last night because I was finishing in the top 4-5 every game (from both teams combined). IT sure helped my confidence though! Looking forward to next week.
What time did you guys run until? I wanted to get in, but was home kinda late last night - which will be the case for the next 7-8 Thursdays. If you're running past 11 EST, then I'll look you guys up next week.
Hey Deep, I got on after 9 last night. I went to the FoF tag and it showed you as offline. Old an Achy (on the fof tag) was on. I went to the forums to see if he had posted in thread before sending him a message for an invite. Might want to check your online status.

Glad you could ride in on me. Deep was actually showing online for me when you were trying to get into the room. XBL has been a little flakey lately showing peeps online. Either that or it is because Deep is in Canada

I always felt so bad telling non-clan members it was our Clan night. Now I don't have to do that anymore.
Two rooms going! I would have been happy with 12 people.
I managed to get in both rooms. Good games. It took me about half the night to relearn the controls. I had a blast, I'm in again next week.
