Yes it's true, I'm leaving my family at Epic to join my new family at Irrational in Boston starting tomorrow.

Wow that's bad for me as a gears fan but good for me as a BioShock fan. Hopefully he gets them back on track and there are no more delays with it.
Thankfully the 'problems' were blown out of proportion. Follow up interviews with Ken Levine confirms that they are typical end-of-development-cycle stuff with unneeded staffers either being let go or moving to other projects, etc.
Ya kind of interesting , this Rod news hitting at the same time as Epic talking about their new studio in Maryland i think, and then the Irrational news of some higher level people jumping ship. I mean ya sure people leave as projects come to a close. But usually it's just consultants and qa people, people you brought in to help make the final push. It's not like your senior art guy or other long time employees.
So i find it all interesting.....
