Top Gear is annoying me.

I really like Top Gear, both UK and USA versions, but I get tired of them driving crap cars. Sure its fun to see their  challengeswhere they buy a 2000 dollar car, but they don't have enough sweet rides on that show. Anbody else feel that way.

Nope...except I can't stand the US one...it's long since ceased to be a car show, it has been light entertainment for a few years so I guess I don't really expect more than the daft adventure, the stupid but entertaining challenge  and maybe a stupidly fast car or two. The shows swing from Meh mental chewing gum to ???did they really do that, and that keeps me hooked.

The UK version is better and they have better cars too. I like the guys in the US version, but the cars aren't the greastest. I'm hoping the new season is better.

yes

Yep, original show is better! US show is just doing the same things again that was done few years back by JC, RH and JM...

But there is some good stuff though: the Alaska episode where they had challenge with pick-up trucks, that was cool!

I've only seen about 20 minutes of the first episode of the new US season (the one with the cop cars). I can't stand the humour (or well, the lack of it) in the us one, as well as the crappy guest car racing segment. I do however like the "challenges" or adventures they go on, it's more fitting than various shorts of testing new cars - That is better done by Clarkson and CO (or even better on the DRIVE channel by Chris Harris).

It's like Knight said, decent light entertainment in the lack of better shows!
