Okay, so I didn't like Forza Horizon 1, and played it very little.
But, I got the Fast n Furious as it was a stand alone and FREE, so why not right? Played the crap out of it, probably as long as I did FH1. I ahve to say the rain and night driving was different, pretty to look at, but more a novelty than a selling point going forward. It would have to be a serious diffference for Forza 6.
So, here's my question. Is the quality of FH2 as good as the FnF they just released?
Also, I'm looking at $47.95 for the basic game, up to 89.95 (I think) for everything, VIP car pass etc.. And then there's the Storm Island for $10.00 ? Does Storm Island add any rewards points? Id it worth getting as an add on? Is it all off road?
I guess I just need a hands on description in here from people I trust and not media hype...

Okay, he did write a review and it's a favorable one, so I'm really leaning toward it at this point. Jonesy has never let me down with his reviews.
I would like some first hand experience from others if they're willing though.
i found the game very much like horizon 1, good feel a lot of fun but no real longevity to it, bargin bin buy i would think, i also never touched the dlc for this game
I'm guessing anyone that already has it aren't playing it much anymore and I should look at it as a single player game. As I'm looking forward to Pcars, and then Fm6, AND waiting around for a decent Golf game to appear, I'm probably going to pass on this.

Well, I haven't killed Fm5 yet by any means, and June is ok for Golf. Maybe I'll hold off on H2 a bit, see if it drops in price. It was $89.00 for everything and I don't see me doing that for a single player experience. Probably almost buy PGA tour and PCars for that.
Get Race Pro for the 360 instead. Am having a blast with it. As you know I'm 5-10 years behind the gaming curve anyways. And we can be the only ones in the world doing the multiplayer.
I've unplugged and shelved the 360. It's retired.
I have 12 racing games for the 360 that I pop in all the time. And there is one for the ONE that I'm interested in (PCARS) and it's not out until May 15. I'm a dinosaur and I know it. But spending 1,000 dollars in the next year (after buying the system, games etc) doesn't make sense to me. Especially when I still have the 360, PS2, WII, computer, Nintendo DS, PS, SNES, and my Intellivision. Could one of you guys come to my house and explain to my wife (who's not a gamer) why I need another GAME system. lol. For those of you who are and continue to STAY married it is a compromise that you are working on every day for nearly 30 years.
Or just upload your sales pitch to YouTube and I'll run it for her. Anyway my Marine son is coming home later this year and he'll probably buy the ONE and then it'll just cost me the price of the game.
And I have another LCM swim meet coming up in June.
The compromise here was I waited a year after the new system was released to get it, and it wasn't my idea, she offered...that and my 360 has already been broke down and cleaned/adjusted twice by myself with the help of a 12 yr old on you tube...It's really on it's last legs anyway.
Had my 360 cleaned last month. It needed a new cd drive and it was replaced and cleaned for 50 bucks. So I'm good for a while I guess. Our PS2 which my oldest son got as a 8th grade graduation present "used" is still running great with just my monthly vacuuming. He's now almost 24. The thing is a tank.
I love Forza Horizon 2. In several ways, its better than Forza 5. It runs at 30 FPS, but there is far less aliasing than Forza 5. The car selection is just as good, if not better than Forza 5. The FFB on my TX wheel feels great, and the TH8A shifter adds some nice immersion. The graphics are drop dead gorgeous. The Fast and Furious game is a nice tease, but the full game is 10 times better, more cars, far more events and locations, and a much more interesting career mode. The Storm Island expansion is worth every penny, it adds some wild and crazy offroad racing on a completely new map, with an emphasis on offroad monsters.
I got the game last Fall on launch day, but still play it several times a week, with no end in sight. It will keep me more than happy until Forza 6 arrives this Fall.
P.S. - I have Forza Horizon 1 and it did not keep my interest nearly as long as Forza Horizon 2. Horizon 2 is hands down a better game in every way. Period.
I hated the first Horizon but I really like FH2, and I still play it fairly often...probably more often than I play Forza 5. Like Gizzie said, it doesn't have the longevity of a proper numbered Forza, but it's more fun...if that makes sense. Rent it first and have a go...I don't buy anything these days without a rental trial run.
I haven't rented a game in forever but this time I think I might.
In all seriousness. I did download F&F for the 360. But have only played through the first 2 speed challenges. So shame on me. I really should put some time into it.

Do we have a club in FH2 and can I get an invite??? There's a couple cheevos that deal with club membership I guess.
Yes, there is. You should be able to search fo it and request to join if someone hasn't sent you an invite.
Yeah I started a Club....I think its 2O4F.....Its open so you dont need an invite...I just pruchased the Porche pack and realy been enjoying the game again
I'm in. I've been tinkering with it as there are some points available and I wanted to get to tier 7, now I'm just inching up my friends list, almost in the top ten. Also trying to get my garage over 300 cars. Forza 6 says I'm at 15.2 million going in so far...
If you had more than 12 friends we might be impressed.
You need to try to get to Tier 1...(I think) Also i think the Forza Hub is broke for me cause it doesnt recognized my 500 plus cars in FM5...it shows Im 100+ Im too trying to get 300 cars in my garage...More Miata's than one man needs
i did setup a club when the game came out, i will kick it up later and check, i need to raise my tier before FM6

LOL, truthfully, my goal was simply to get to tier 7, which was 1200 or so points, which I did in like 6 days, so now I'm just earning credits and buying cars to get FH2 garage to 300, and in doing so I looked at the list and starting keeping track of my movement, moved up 5 or 6 positions so far.
Oh...yeah...Teir 7 in the Hub...Im like 1000 away from Teir 8.....and If reading my info correctly it says I need to play more days of FH2....but it dont tell me how many days...and if I max my bar out I dont think Ill have enough to get to Teir 8.......what a rip off...=( After the new month the Hub STILL dont recognize all my cars in FM5....still has me at 11.2 mill. Is anyone else having issues in the Hub??
Tier 7 is still the top tier until they update the rewards system.
