Race department holds daily races but run on uk times and start at 1pm mt here, iam gonna start running there on wed -thurs, I love the minis and Blancpain mod :)
as for fanaleds if iam correct you copy the rf1 file and drop it into your gsc 2013 main folder.
i can't remember fully but the devs posted for the most realistic feel to change your wheel settings in your controller profile to 720 and ingame steering lock to 25-26.
as posted above there's a new tool at rd that converts all rf1 mods to gsc13 but personally feel there are very few mods that won't stick out like a bad eye sore when running gsc content.
Virtual lm tracks, historix, Blancpain, fvr v8s and vtcc are the only ones I've felt are worth it so far :)
Locate the plugin folder, and copy and paste the plugin for that game into there. Or you can let FanaLeds scan your system for relevent games and it will do it automatically (Thanks to a certain tester :) ) Just go to the help tab in their software and select the relevent option.
future updates have tons of content promised as well new features like track rubbering, dynamic weather etc. and the best part it's all free to owners of gsc 2013 for those that don't it's $25 and worth every penny by far my favorite sim and can't wait for more excellent updates from these guys :)
Can someone help me ! When I purchased GSC 13 It was the latest version the one that does automatic updates . It has not updated to the extreme version how do I go about downloading the extreme version. Thanks for the help.
I'll post up instructions in the morning if Kurupt doesn't beat me to it, but basically in the program folder you'll find a icon for an updater, just double click that and that should give you the full update. If it is not there you can download it from their website.
Ink, hang in there brother and don't give up. GSC uses the outdated rFactor engine and so you have to go through some extra bullshit to update it. rFactor 2 has an improved interface, but it also takes some patience. Here is the link to Reiza's site, with links to the download you need:
Ah GSC sync that is the name your looking for in your Game Stock Car Folder, like me as you downloaded recently it will already be installed and will update you to Extreme.
Gsc has been updated to v1.30, the Marcas touring car series which was a standalone free release has been added to gsc with all the features being incorporated, 2 new tracks and a majority of the original tracks have gotten the enhanced graphic update!

Any fans of rf1 should definitely look into purchasing this title, reizahas pushed isi engine to the max without the hassle of a million mods to improve the experience :)
I can't wait for touring car leagues to start popping up!
Spent the afternoon running in Race Department races.......I forgot how good this sim is :)
After the races i was searching the public server activity, which had quit a few servers running and i found out that Race department has an server running the Copa Marcas Touring car series with multiple track loops running so i decided to jump in a run a few race.........OMG hands down the BEST Touring Car Series Experience ive experienced in any sim, ffb, physics, visuals etc were excellent, absolutely simtastic!!!
I strongly advise anyone with GSC to jump in the open Race Department server, lots of fast drivers that for the most part very clean.
I ran this yesterday and played with the Focus touring car at Bologna. It was good fun. I cannot believe how good this game looks even though it is based on the 10 year old rFactor 1 engine.
It's very good and almost RRE dx9 quality, they have added there code in the graphics area and a new lighting system. Hopefully they will continue adding things and can bring the tracks more alive with animated Marshalls which is about the only thing graphically rf2 does well. The move to steam and incorporating the Copa Marcas touring cars looks to be benefiting them with alot more people in the servers during non north american prime times.
Today I had the joy of running 2 races with a 35 person grid in both they even had 15 people on the reserve list!
They did a super pole for quality an out lap and 1 flying lap, I qualified 20th using race fuel 1.5 secs off the leaders And finished 15th in race one and 14th race 2.
Absolute blast with edge of your seat excitement. ....highly recommended!
Race department has announced that every wed and sat they will running touring car races! They have also been running open server for non premium members to check out the action.
For the cheapos that haven't purchased this fantastic sim Renalto has said Copa Marcas touring cars which were originally a free dlc will still be available for free as well as separate from gsc and will be getting a steam update so that you can play online with gsc users.
Race department is running s3 of v8's and currently has 43 drivers and will be closed when 50 is reached. You can watch the action on race departments live stream through you tube.

I can't get enough of these touring cars, simply awesome! Learning all the little tricks and coming to grip with the tuning and was able to take a 5th place finish in a 28 car grid at race department yesterday :)
Patrick Grantham a beta tester and community ambassador over at Rd has converted all the btcc tracks from rf1 and race 07 and given them a gsc quality overhaul I'll upload the track pack shortly for those interested. I believe you can add the tracks to the Copa Petrobras touring car game free on steam now
ISRG.Com is running some fun races this evening using the fantastic touring cars....practice starts at 11 pm est followed by a 15 min quality and 3 x 10 min sprints. Join us if you can!
Server name: ISRG.com info no password as it's an open public server in attempt to draw more drivers, which seems to have been helping instead of hiding behind closed doors
An excellent evening of racing!!!
15+ drivers for 6 races exchanging paints was a blast with tight battles all over the field. I am gonna try working something out with Brian to host 1 or 2 evenings during the week for the time period I can't make Fri do to my work rotation....between isrg.com and race department Iam in touring heaven. If anyone is even kicking around here anymore and is looking for some races check out either http://www.racedepartment.com/forums/stock-car-extreme-racing-club-leagu... or

If you race multi Sims there's no better club than Rd as it has organized races for every title daily.

Strange I have the same version and updated it to extreme the other day, do you use the updating prog located in the game folder?

Let us know if you have more questions. Someone answered the same kinds of questions from us when we were getting our feet wet with PC sim racing.

Spot on Zero, that was me not so long ago :)
