Nice, last summer I went to a local track and watched a shitload of Miata's race. You can find them online all day long for 4k or less. I told the wife when the kids move out I might have a new hobby.
Sounds like a blast. I always said, doesn't matter what you race, it's the racing...
That would be a blast.
Let's see. I have a hard enough time selling an XBOX One to my spouse @ $350.00 (taxes not included). But if I won the lotto. This sounds like the thing to do after my divorce.
I got to race a old RWD Datsun around our local track and it was a lot of fun. Gutted, roll cage, the works.
Right before I went out on to the track:
Years ago, down in Hialeah Florida, there was a local track that raced ministocks. These consisted of Pinto's, Toyota 20R and 22R's and not much else if I remember correctly. But they were a blast to race, 3/8's oval, very fun, track plenty wide and banked.
are you a south florida native ? I remember that track on sat nights car engine sounds for miles. I live in Pompano Beach now but I remember those t imes .
Used to live in Palm Beach County. Anywhere from West Palm to Delray was my stompin ground with forays to Pompano, Ft Lauderdale, the Keys...
When the West Palm track shut down many used to make the drive to Hialeah.
