I really miss the old F4 days also. I sure got a lot of use out of that game. It was the first game I went looking for some serious online racing. But I found 2O4F instead. Best group I have ever raced with.
I knew that I could get on any night, see who else was on, and either create or join someone's private lobby. Then there were the spec series, classic grand am, and some others I am forgetting. Great door to door racing always. Memories, I really miss you guys.
I just might try Forza 5 later this year. Fanatec claims they will have an Xbone compatible rim for my clubsport base and even are letting people pre-order it. I will believe it when I see it and will wait for the reviews before I order one myself. I will have to get an adapter to plug my pedals into my wheel though. I hope Basherman has one or can make one.
PCars also sounds interesting, but I will wait for the reviews on that as well. If I do get it, it will be for PC though. Gotta have my triple monitors.
I still get my racing fix from iRacing, but not as much as I used to. I am in a league running the V8SC on Tuesday nights. I'm doing ok, we are halfway through the 12 week season and I'm sitting 2nd in the individual standings and my team is 1st in the team standings. I still run enough official races to get the participation credits every season, but nothing like I used to do.
I hope we can eventually find some common ground and start racing together again. It would be great. As always, if any of you decide to give iRacing a try, let me know. My name there is Troy Eddy. I can give you advice on any questions you might have.
It is Somber but True...Rumor has it and I repeat "Rumor" has it that secret in house promotions has left him being nothing more that a shill for the website. His current duties of riding shotgun over recent posts for perceived unruly members has made his character equivilent to what some may refer to as Corporate Castration. Nonetheless he is shell of what he use to be. His wit and scarcasm are practically nonexistent. Feeble attempts by Parcells using his wit and scarcasm haphazardly appear as tokens from his former self seeking to reestablish the Parcells we "USED" to remember.
P.(arcell)S..Future requests under the Freedom of Information Act may squelch these hideous rumors and speculation!
