The Babadook - Psychological Horror
The Babadook - Psychological Horror
So...I noticed a movie called The Babadook was up on Netflix. Looked interesting so I checked it out. Damn that was creepy as hell. By the end of it you don't know whats real and whats just plain mental breakdown. I saw the trailer last year and thought "meh this is gonna be dumb." But I was pleasantly surprised. Its not ground breaking anything. But I was definitely glad I watched it, and I was genuinely creeped out. So kudos to the director & crew for that.
Basically about a single mom and her son living together, and the mother having to deal with the son. The kid possibly has some form of aspergers or something and acts out a lot.....causing massive amounts of stress for the mother.
One night shes putting her son to bed and tells her son to pick a book from the shelf. He grabs a book called the Babadook. About a creature that will come into your home and torment you if you invite it.
Weird stuff starts happening of course, and that's all Im gonna say about it. Here be the trailer.
I'm going to have to give this a look. The trailer looks pretty good.
So not a movie about meditarrian cuisine?
lol no Radikal.
Let me know if you guys check it out and what you think about it.
The wife liked it. There are some creepy found footage shorts on YouTube.
