I would like to find out who here is planning to get the new Xbone compatible wheel from Fanatec. I am thinking about it, but haven't pre-ordered yet. I would really like to find out how good it is before I pre-order it.
The advertised shipping date if you order it now is August 31st. I believe there are some here who have already pre-ordered it and have an earlier shipping date. Please let me know who you are and when you are supposed to get your rim. I will be looking for a review as soon as you can provide it.
I currently have a CSW V1 base with the V2 base pre-ordered with estimated ship date of May 15th. My pedals and shifter can plug into my wheel base, so I'm ok there. I will just need the Xbone rim to be able to race with a wheel on the Xbone. If all goes as planned, I may be able to race with you guys on Forza 6 this fall.
Wont have mine until September.
Pretty sure Jarhead that you do or have raced with OldSlowFred on PC so may wish to reach out to him (have no idea if he frequents these forums these days) but he did recieve his V2 base a little over a month ago and then bought some GT wheel for it that works on PC and play stations.
Upgrading from his CSR wheel he says this is by far the best wheel he's ever used, not even close. Smooth and the FFB is awesome. He's been using it on both PC and GT6 since then.
Minimal info. here but more than nothing right?
We've both used Fanatec products quite a bit so it seems to me that reliability will be the only question mark here as I have little doubt the quality will be there and part of my reasoning is Seans initial review of the product about half a year ago or more.

Snappy can you help with in game setup . For some reason the cars seem to be dragging (slow) I was trying the BMWz4 GT3 on Nurburg GP with all assists off (I think) auto clutch /squential . Base car setup . Lap time 2:20 same car and settings on Assetto Corsa Lap time 2:03 . Something is way off. Thanks.

So, has anybody received the Xbone compatible rim for the CSW yet? I'm wondering how it is working. Please let me know so I can decide if I want to get it or not. Thanks.
Have been using mine on PS3/PS4 for a few weeks now and as of last week been trying it out on the XOne with Horizon 2 and very little FM6 to this point but that will change over the weekend.
I wrote up a bigger review in another thread. Suffice it to say I'm very happy with the purchase so far (upgraded from Elite), the solidness of the larger rim is great and FFB seems outstanding.
With Parcells on the critique...Love the Wheel...Picked the V3 Pedals but am having problems with them...The gas pedal keep dropping from 100% to 25-50% at random times racing GT6...Submitted a repair order from Fanatec and waiting for a response.
