Warning for all crucible players
Warning for all crucible players
There is a problem with the Hunter/Golden Gun in MM and its being heavily abused right now
So if you play trials or control , here is your warning to watch out
basically hunters can have an ashes to ash perk combined with the lucky rasberry chest and its perks and the scatter nade. you dont even have to die to the scatter nade just get touched by it for the hunter to gain his super.
we played Elimation last night, and this Hunter had his golden gun 4 out of the 5 rounds and one round he had 2 golden guns. this is a static nade that sits in the air and if you get close it attacks you, these guys those are throwing them on top of you instead of statically placing them, so they dont kill you but soon as any part of it touches you their gg is up
we won the match 5 games to 4 , but spent a large majority of the game running from golden gun and having to use the spear with final round to smoke the golden gun guy from long ranges.
We also tested it out in control last night, and im just going to say this, it is ridiculously easy to get 10-15 golden guns a game, because you can just throw the scatter nade in high traffic areas and your super comes right up. then you have your other players feeding off those orbs from the golden gun and it turns into chaining no stop supers
here is a video
I hate Hunters.... Just kidding -sorta... and Bungie worries about nerfing guns to make it fair. Wouldn't you think they'd have play tested all this?
Well, let's cut the Hunters some slack. PvP is about the only place they are useful, other than being a Crota's End swordbearer and going invis...lol
Kidding, just kidding...sorta...
I was feeling the Golden Gun pain last week. Seemed to happen a lot.
Still won some games, so I didn't think an exploit was being used.
Can blaim the idiots who posted this shit on Reddit instead of reporting it directly to Bungie. Glad I don't play PvP.
Just came out of crucible. Meh, didn't seem to affect the game on some maps. Plenty of attempts to use the exploit.
Given the information, Hunters will accumulate and balance each other out over time, I guess.
Looks like the grenade cheese is worse than we thought.
Apparently you can grenade yourself and get most of your super up almost immediately.
The patch notes for the latest hotfix addresses this issue
Props to Bungie for getting to this fast.
Agreed other than the days of all the stupid animal error codes at peak times, they get on these type of things pretty quick.
Now back to warlock sunsinger's being OP in crucible.
Even when it was going, I saw one person use it in rumble, and didn't see it at all in Trials.
Boooo!
