Okay, I've been gone for a long time but when Halo 5 hits I'm Coming back with a vengeance . Who's going to be playing and getting the world famous Darth Frost Teabag?
I'll pick it up, used though. After the debacle of Halo 4 and MCC, 343 doesn't deserve my monies...yet. I will give them their due though, the H5 beta was pretty damn good. And going just based off the beta, I get the feeling I will enjoy H5 more than I did H4 and Reach. Of course, one doesn't have to aim very high to improve from H4 and Reach. H5 could be a turd and still might be better than the former games. Who knows.
If it's good enough I may host an all inclusive Halo 5 night on Thursday evening again. Depends a lot on who and how many want to do whatever. I.E. Warzone parties of 12 and 8v8 BTB customs don't fit well together.

I also enjoyed the few games I played in the beta, so I do anticipate I'll purchase the game. However, as Laser stated above, I may wait and make sure the game acutally works before making a purchase.
I do have a little more faith in 343 that H5 will actually work. I think they just got too far into the deep end with the MCC, so I HOPE they learned their lessons.
I thought the beta was promising and I expect to be playing Halo 5 for sure. I like that they are pushing the envelope and trying new things with Warzone.
Waaahhhhhhhaaaatttt! Deeeep! Whatever....anyways the more I read about H5 Warzone the more excited I get. This has the potential to be totally awesome! I love carnage and I miss BTB my favorite playlist. I tend to get owned in 4v4 so I'm looking forward to some big battles. My favorite mode in UT2K4 was onslaught oh how I miss that, I want BTB with objectives that make sense. :)
The beta was really good. I still don't like sprint, but the H5 implementation is the best so far. The shield penalty is a great idea and works pretty well to balance it. I've got the LE console pre-ordered so I'll be playing :).
Also, if anyone wants to see some solid gameplay, go to twitch.tv/halo and there is about 3 hours of pro gameplay from Gamescom on Friday. 3 Euro teams and 1 N. American team (Optic). 2 maps - Empire from the beta but it's been changed up a little since the beta mostly in power weapons and the introduction of overshield. New map - Fathom - that looks alot like Empire but is from a different part of the game and the pros and commentators say reminds them a bit of Narrows.
Will do the digital download. My speed is now 12 down and 1 up with open NAT (following instructions at portforward.com), so hoping I have better multiplayer results than I did with the Beta (2 matches on release day and none thereafter despite numerous attempts)
I preordered it 2 days ago. It took about 12 hours to download with 15 down 2.5 up speed. Glad I didn't wait till midnight and buy it. I am off all week so I'll have plenty of time to play.
I have been watching a lot of vids on youtube and am pretty excited for warzone. What is everyone gonna play first? I usually jump right into multiplayer as that's what I enjoy the most.. This time I might do campaign first so I can learn how to use all the abilities and such as I didn't play much of the beta.

I'm not much of a Halo guy, since I've only switched to consoles as my primary gaming platform this year. However, a lot of the people I'm playing with these days are huge Halo fans, so I'm giving it a try. I will be blaming you guys if I don't like it.

Broke my own resolution and pre-ordered it. I figured I was probably going to get it anyway and with that massive download available pre-release, it was good to get it out of the way. Btw, game download is 46 gb and there will be a day one update of 9 gb so be prepared.

Downloaded H5 last week, so I'm ready to go. I'll be looking to play Team Slayer and Warzone first depending on how many players we get. Campaign can wait for later.
Pre-ordered for many months. I usually do campaign first, but I think I might just play some MM first this time around. I really had fun in the beta and the additional changes since the beta only look better.
Have not been here in years. Big XBox One fan. Just started 2 wk vacation, 41st wedding anniversary tomorrow, 62nd birthday Oct 26. Have pre-ordered Halo 5 and will still be in birthday mode at midnight release and intend to be playing all night. Will start with campaign ( Not too fond of the crazy multiplayer crowd, but absolutely love co-op). Will be looking for partners for co-op.

343i has come right and publicly stated, if they did MCC again, it would not have the unified front end. Each title would be stand alone.
I will probably buy H5 -- to beat the campaign on Mythic SLASO difficulty if nothing else.
I will preorder it just to spite everyone who says they won't and then I won't play it for a month to spite all the people who did preorder it.

I'll be getting the digital version sometime after the 20th and will be ready come launch nite. I doubt 343/MS will allow a repeat of the MCC debacle.
