Usually not a believer in conspiracies, I resisted the urge to say anything here about the Trials games we played recently. Apparently, our experience isn't that uncommon - my possibly being IP booted from a game - or suffering from lag switching. The following two links explain what we saw, though neither story is mine - just spookily similar to what we experienced.
Back in May, Bungie began limiting playtime to those who were quitting out to prevent a loss in the Trials. That kind of cheating is kindergarten stuff compared to IP booting opponents and lag switching.
I've also learned that the "dedicated servers" advantage we all heard about for XB1 is more a falacy than reality. I've heard that Bungie uses some dedicated servers, but most player experience is peer-to-peer, like it was on the XB360. I remember people cheering the dedicated servers idea as being a way to prevent lag switchers and other cheaters who had learned how to exploit P-P. Sucks...Just sucks...
Daughter reported one of the cheaters. Have no confidence it'll help.
I think those times only work during the weekdays. All the try hards are home on the weekends
Lighthouse x2 :)

Pretty sure the Destiny dedicated servers, if any, are not the Microsoft servers used for games like Titanfall and Halo 5.
Yeah, Azure servers are, to my knowledge, only used for exclusive Microsoft games. Titanfall, Gears, Halo. That kind of thing.
