I log-in this morning and it seems all I'm seeing are old posts from last week. None of the new posts/replies I've made recently are showing up.
I'm usually not one to really complain about stuff, but I hope things are sorted out soon. The site is slow and my responses seem to either show up immediately or take hours to show or not even show up at all.

Sherb pointed it out already, but we had a massive hardward failure at the data center. The slower speeds you saw leading up to it was the database drive failing. Its unrelated to V4 and just one of those things that happens when running on our own dedicated box.
Starting yesterday I had a major issue logging in. When I tried to log in I got a message that there were too many invalid attempts to log in from this IP. Only way I could get in was to use the forgot my password approach to change my password. Today when I tried to log in I got a "forgot your password?" message and had to use the change password approach again. I am using Firefox and Windows 10. Btw, before that (and before I upgraded to Windows 10) I noticed I had to click the log in button two or more times to actually initiate login.
Looks like the issue is our CDN. I've turned it off for now while I can work on a fix. Let me know if you have any other issues now that its turned off.
Been good for the last several days. I remember now hitting the login button multiple times awhile back not realizing or seeing the first one was in process (lower left of web page). Probably why the failed login counter went over the top, but a reset of the counter should have resolved that problem. Maybe the change password function was not resetting the failed login counter? Regardless, I am much more conscious of that login button now.
As to coming in already logged on, I remember that stopped happening at some point in the previous version but being the really old and demented person I am, I can't quite remember when that happened.
I'm unable to create a new post under the "Games" forum. I can start new posts in the sub-forums, but not the next tier up. I was going to create a post about a game that no longer has it's own sub-forum due to slow activity over the past year.
Adding in some more changes to the What are you playing pop-up as well to make sure it stays hidden. If you ignore the popup it shouldn't pop back up again for another 2 weeks assuming you don't clear your cookies.
Once you fill it out it will never show up again.
Keep in mind, the what you're playing now basically takes the place of the Groups/Clans in that its an easy way to connect and sort people on the site by their game of choice.
Tried to post a picture and got an error, repeatedly, then discovered it posted even WITh the error so tried to delete th extra's got this
So, I backed up and said I'll edit it out and use the spot for the next pic, got this error
And without cutting and p[asting a partial of the Flickr code into the image tool above the reply box, can't get a picture in at all, just html code displayed.
So what is the trick for posting pictures? I seem to have hit or miss luck. Sometimes they post...other times I can do the exact same thing (even in the same posting) and it just posts either a link or broken text/code. The standard BBcode from Flickr doesn't work.
I've been pulling the actual image url out of the BBCode and using that in the image tool in the bar above the reply subject box. A royal pain, but the only way I've found to work.
Below is full BBCode, Use JUST the bolded...in the image tool above.
Is there a way to show/identify which LFG topic has been updated? Currently there is a notification at the top of the page which shows when there is an update, which is great. But once you go the the LFG listing, you have know idea which ones have been updated and have to go and click through all of the different postings to find where the updates are. It's not too horrible now as the list is small, but as it grows it's going to be awful tedious to clear the update notification on the header.....especially when you may not play 75% of the games in the list.

Gotcha. Thanks guys. That post was showing up for me earlier.
Overall, I like the changes. Hopefully things will continue to improve.
I appreciate all of your hard work.
Thanks Darth. The hardware problem was just terrible timing with the launch, but hopefully its all been resoved.

Thanks. Good to go now.
Could not get in this morning at all, even using the password change approach. Reported it on facebook. Obviously able to log on now. Thanks.
Do you normally sign out of the site after you're done using it or attempt to just sign in once.
Sorry, just saw that. I don't sign out when I am online, just go to a different site or link. I do sign in each time I boot up my laptop.
Its odd that your laptop doesnt keep you signed in when you boot it up again
Happened again. Able to get back in via password change. I will try logging off then back one.

Can you check for more now Sherb. I think i fixed the bug.
Yep, good to go now.
The new feature window is popping up every time I click a link. Is it supposed to do that?
Huge bug. Will fix ASAP.
Ok, should be fixed now.
Yep. No pop up window. Thanks.

BTW, get this result with IE and Chrome.
errors should have gone away
I think they have. Odd thing was, the posts were posting even with the errors popping up. Of course I don't know the significance of the errors....

Good idea. I'll try to add that soon
Thanks OS, that little trick works. Cheers.
