I miss my 2O4F buddies...

Me too hundred! this place is sooooooooo quiet...

I'll keep checking here.  I'm not much of a FB person.  I do it just to keep touch with my Masters swim group.

From what I understand most(?) 2O4F regulars joined a 2O4F facebook group and no longer use the 2O2P forums to manage or even advertise regularly scheduled events. That saddens me. 2O2P was the first and pretty much only race forum I’ve ever joined. That was 6-7 years ago and other than a recent almost 2 year hiatus when the entire group dispersed because of the new consoles this place has opened up a pretty darn fun bunch of guys to race and bullshit with over the years. It’s sad to see that ending.

On a less personal note it also sucks for the new members that come to 2O2P to join this long standing 2O4F group but all they find is what would appear, based on post frequency, one unpopular Thursday evening series which is far from reality.

What I meant by some semblance is for race series organizers to at least copy and paste one thread advertising your series here on 2O2P. It would be nice to allow sign ups on these forums too but at least knowing an event is occurring allows people to pursue that event if they’re interested.

Let’s not allow history to forget 2O2F’s roots with 2O2P.

Parcells...It would seem your comments are directed exclusively to the Admin Boys.  After being away for awhile from Forza (Here) it seems I have come back to a Ghost Town (Here). I can understand the experiment of shifting to the Facebook since most of us have exited Forza on account of a litany of piss-offs. But now that some of us have come back home the back and forth BS is sparse. Facebook does nothing for me. I joined up under the name Noah Tose (Lost Half of them in a Motorcycle Accident). Facebook is not my thing but I signed up to be better informed (I Believe) about the happenings here. It is MY ongoing experiment that may fail my Facebook Pull The Plug Test. I agree with you comment on better communication here for upcoming events as well as a return to friendly BS.

P.(arcell)S...The problem with Facebook to me is you need a cheat sheet to even know who the hell is who. There is no GamerTag names. Only given names or pseudo names like mine Noah Tose....WTF

P.(arcell)S..Here is the other problem on facebook it states that there are 239 members with 7 admins but on the sign up sheet there are about a 100 members signed up with some Facebook names not shown. How the Hell is one suppose to know who the hell is who? Prime Example...Here we have Gizziegod who I believe is or was a Admin yet on Facebook he is Jimmy Smith...Where on the sign up sheet to you see Gizzie's Facebook name???... WTF....Sumpting WONG!

Old School/Parcells....Let's stay on the safe side....Send a PM to 3G's (GrimGrinningGhost) and ask him the procedure when it comes to Facebook. I believe he sends you a invite through his Facebook Name (James Thurston) or adds you to the group. I honestly forgot the procedure.
