King's Fall Raid, Fri, May 27
Sign up here for the King's Fall raid on Friday, May 27 at 9pm Eastern/ 6pm Pacific. No raid experience necessary, but you should be at least 300 light and have a decent, high-impact sniper, like the 1000 Yard Snare for sale at the Vanguard vendor. We usually run for about three hours more or less. If you need to change plans, we understand, but post here again as soon as possible so we can find a replacement. If there are already five participants, please consider signing up as an alternate. Stuff happens, even at the last minute.

I would be in for a hard mode raid since I've yet to get two fragments for my Titan: XLIV - strict proof eternal and XLV - I'd shut them all in cells. I need experienced raiders to accomplish this. Plus the last fragment XLVIII - the aiat run in Court of Oryx.
DatBasementCat: I added you to the roster, since you will be able to get fragment XLIV on normal, provided we can complete the challenge.
This group has been running normal mode. Don't think you need to run HM to get the raid fragments.
Correct. The raid fragments Cheeze mentions are for completing the raid challenges and will drop on either Normal or Hard.
I can confirm this since the last fragment I needed was for the Warpriest challenge and I got it last week when we did the challenge on Normal.

Thank you for clarifying that. I was under the impression that getting the said fragments involved challenging either Warpriest or Golgoroth in hard mode. Which seems strange that I went normal mode with my Titan some time back and completed the Warpriest challenge but never got the fragment.
OldnAchy, DEEP_NNN, doorgunnerjgs, duke12, DatBasementCat and myself ran the raid this evening. We ran normal mode through the Golgy challenge. We gained a new appreciation for the Black Spindle in running the challenge. It made all the difference. A XLIV calcified fragment was found and appreciated!
Glad we could get thru the challenge and get that fragment for Cheez! Black Spindle indeed made a difference for the challenge. For those without it, the next time "Lost To Light" comes around as the Daily Heoic, those without should take a shot. I am more than willing to help. With higher light levels we should be able to get thru it.
I think the most amazing part of the night was that Deep successfully ran Defender (Bwahaha!).
True about defender. I definitly noticed a drawback for me though (maybe others too?) Solar line grenades save me a ton of primary ammo. I had to use Primary synth 3 times last night as compared to almost never previously. Punching ads doesn't give the solar flare and its benefits.
I can help with defender again in the future but its not my first choice.
Yep, I would help too if people want Spindles. I would love to finish that quest one time and feel good about my performance.

Glad I joined you all for the last night's raid and for getting that fragment! The Golgoroth challenge was indeed a challenge for me in term of communication but Krak and Achy made it all good! Thanks! :)
