King's Fall Raid, Fri, July 8
I'm heading back home after a long road trip. Anybody want to raid next Friday?
Sign up 'here' for the King's Fall raid on Friday, July 8 at 9pm Eastern/ 6pm Pacific. No raid experience necessary, but you should be at least 300 light and have a decent, high-impact sniper, like the 1000 Yard Stare for sale at the Vanguard vendor. We usually run for about two hours more or less. If you need to change plans, we understand, but post here again as soon as possible so we can find a replacement. If there are already six participants, please consider signing up as an alternate. Stuff happens, even at the last minute.

Glad to be back in town to participate in an exciting night of raiding. Had half the team dead at totems, but opened the door anyway. Only OldnAchy was alive at one point during Warpriest, but he revived the rest of the team, and we got our revenge. Got Golgoroth down to the tiniest sliver before dying to his rage. Now that's entertainment, folks! The team tonight was DEEP_NNN, OldnAchy, Duke12, doorgunnerjgs, Dr Jojo ccm and Krak64.
I think I'm getting more scattered. How we completed the Totems is a mystery to me.
I still had fun even though my failure at Golgoroth's gaze elicited many energetic words from me.

We took out Orxy last night and got the challenge done for those that needed the fragment.
Thanks to DEEP, Achy, Hammer, Kal and " Plate 2" for some really good runs - especially Hammer for the excellent job he did running the relic.
We had a few mishaps and strange happenings, but I'd say we have a pretty good system down for dealing with Oryx.

Did we sink Oryx with 4 or 5 bomb sets? I was getting pretty punchy at the end.

That was fun, so glad I was finally able to make it back into the Raid!
And I'm certainly glad you made it! We got our last calcifieds and the satisfaction of killing off that pesky oryx again.
We really are getting a system in place for taking him down. Just in time to give HM a try?
