Tuesday night/Friday night Over 50 Destiny 2 Raid Group 1, 9pm-11pm ET
Tuesday night over-50 raid group is: Deciduous Duke (me), DEEP NNN, ADEM WEST, CHA0S Qc, Vaht Vokuree, and MoonPie42. Alt: Agent1951.
Friday night group is: Deciduous Duke (me), DEEP NNN, ADEM WEST, Agent1951, Vaht Vokuree, and MoonPie42. Alt: Cha0s Qc.
If you're not already in a raid group, you're over 50, and we're running short, feel to join us! Just send an "inv" request.
Attendance is assumed. If you can't make it, please let me know a day in advance (or when you can) either here or on XBox Live.

Come to think of it, since the 12th is a Tuesday, our group still gets a bit of a break before we dive in. Well before then I'll query the Tuesday regulars and Tuesday/Friday alts on XBLive to see who is available to raid Friday 9/15.
Bungie is rolling out clan features slowly apparently.
Nice idea, Duke! I've probably got one reliable raid session per week in me, and as an early-to-early left coaster, I like the 9-11pm Eastern window. I'll alt for the Tuesday group, but Friday is a better day for me.
Thanks, Hemihuman/Krak! I'll put you down as a "possible" alt for Tuesdays and a "go to" alt for Fridays. After a couple weeks of this, I should have a good idea of who can do both Tuesdays and Fridays and who can only do one. And feel free to form up your own group, of course.
I had to reread the OP because I was a little confused about Fridays. I can see that you have locked in a fire team for Tuesday but initially I thought you just wanted to raid on Friday and just Agent had committed to that. After reading your response to Krak listing him as a "go to" alternate for Friday and rereading the OP it appears to me you intend to run essentially the same fire team Tuesday and Friday (except for Chaos). Since I don't consider myself an alternate in the raid game and I like to know ahead of time concerning the raid, I will be definitely looking for another group to raid with.
I don't know if we have enough people to make a separate regular Friday group, but we can see. I'll put a thread up, and we'll see what happens.
Go ahead and do your Friday thread, Hemi. The Tuesday group is the most important for me with Friday being the icing, so to speak. Because of logistical problems (see below), I can't do a first-come-first served set up for Fridays. Regarding first Raid Friday, Sept 15, 2017: Based on Xbox Live and a phone message, I have 6 for the 15th. I have just now informed 2 non-responders that they are alternates. But if you want to start a thread for the 15th, go ahead and I may be able to get one of my alternates in. If we both end up short, we'll figure something out.
Logistics, the longer version:
Achy, you're right: at the moment, Friday really is confusing, even for me: about half my Tuesday night committed regulars don't access this website even though they are 2Old2Play members. Cross communicating between here and XBox Live is a hassle. The best I can come up with for now is to verbally ask the nonwebsiters on Tuesday if they can continue on Friday. Cha0s doesn't play on Fridays (usually) and Agent1951 can only play on Fridays. So in theory, I could have a full group both days. Which means alternates have to wait until Wednesday to find out if there are spots open. Not exactly fair and a bit frustrating? You betcha! So doing as we did before may be the best solution for now: with a dedicated Tuesday group and a first come first served Friday group. And because of the Tuesday Private matches, we may pick up more potential raiders and multiple groups both days or other days won't be a problem.
If everyone joins Deep's 2Old2Play Primoridials on Bungie, we may be able to have one means of communicating with our over 50s.
Either way, this will all work out. I'll just be happy if the servers don't crash on day 1!
No problem, Deep. I think that this confirms that the "old system" of a dedicated Tuesday group and a first come/first served Friday group (set up by Hemi/Krak) is probably the best way to go.
On Fridays, if Hemi/Krak's group is full and my group is still short, I can see if any of Hemi/Kraks alternates are online and ready to raid. Or some of us can join Hemi/Krak's group if we're all short. We'll figure it out.
Obviously there was no raid yesterday (Tuesday 9-12-17), but everyone showed up online and the high power level members helped me and the other low PL members get closer to the Raid minimum of 260. Thanks, and great teamwork!
Anyone over 260 can open the Raid. We can start it up and with due caution, calm training time is available until were ready to start.
If we succeed with the first part, I'll be just as uninformed as anyone.
Word of advice, get in there and look around, asap.
I couldn't figure out how to get into the Raid venue solo. Forgot to check again after I'd reached 260 (not even sure if that makes a difference) and finished my "crown" quests.
Pretty good effort tonight. Almost capped all 3 staff. Maybe next time.
OMG, I never imagined Bungie would rotate the exit doors and following missions! Evil icing to that cake, no check point until you finish the next section.
We slugged it out until we planted all three staff. I guess the next section was called The Pleasure Garden. Cha0s initiated us on that one but we ran well out of time before getting much action in.

Bungie was not kind to us. Pricks.
First, a Standard boss went back into his closet and wouldn't come out for about 20 seconds or so. Then we had two Standards planted and then we noticed the Cabal couldn't return them and we couldn't activate a third Standard. Went to orbit.
Moonpie was in black screen for an extended time. You don't even want to know why.
This was Adam and Moonpie's first trip in and they did quite well.
Glad to finally have the full team together! I add at least one new crucial detail to the ole long term memory each time. One of these days, the Castellum will be a quick routine. Looking forward to Tuesday!
Some advance schedule notes:
I will be "on call" to pick someone up at a bus station 10-10:30pm E next Friday (9-29-17). I probably won't be back on during the Raid time.
I will be out of town next month for a week and miss Friday 10/20 through Friday 10/27. Tuesday 10/31 is going to be 50/50 (for reasons other than just Halloween). I'll send reminders closer to the actual dates.
