I'm gone for a week starting Sunday. I'm faced with two bad choices! Either just get started and into the game, then walk away for a week OR wait until I get back to start.
Let the grind begin!! I was up at 3AM as well thanks to a major back spasm. I was to sign in right away. Guess the day one update downloaded and installed between 12 and 3 (or before). So much to do. I got to the "adventures" phase. Wonder if we have to do so many of these before more stories pop.
I managed to get 90 min or so in last night before I headed to bed, and a few hours this morning as well. Started to have server issues mid-morning, so I packed it in and headed to work. Server issues aside, it's been great so far!
Other than the simple trailers, I watched no spoilers about game.
Had fun so far. Was able to complete main storyline and hit level 20 in the last mission. Did no grinding at all.
Tried to pvp with white and green weapons. Ouch. Once I got some good blues was able to break even.
Sand Wasp AR, One Earth HC, and Bxxx PR(i forget name but flavor text is "What are the chances...") Are good blues to keep an eye out for.
No spoilers, but I like new partol and adventure system. Weapon upgrades and PVP stats and skill trees seem really simplified. Im not sure I like that.
I pulled a really cool exotic emote. Looking forward to clan going live.
Got my disc yesterday at 13:30 CDT and actually got to play about 14:30. Played the prequell, and then some story and EU dead zone and got up to level 6 before my wife reminded me that I was married! lol Doctors appointments this AM but going to play some this PM.
I think I finally have this whole system figured out! Two seconds later, what was it I have to do next?
I use TV speakers when my ears are sore from the headset. Unfortunately I can't figure out much of what the game characters are saying. Can't remember what they said anyway. Old age is wonderful.

Whats your gamertag? Whats your power? Im at 252. I was gonna attempt it. Another guy interested is about 270. I don't know whet it takes though. we are gonna try tonight around 9ish EST.
Assassin, my GT is Krak64. What's your tag? Not sure if you're on my list or not. Lost my chance to try the nightfall due to all kinds of personal stuff going on last night. Definitely want to take a swing this week.
Sorry I missed the Nightfall post. We completed it after a few failed attempts. The trick is to always be watching for when the burn changes and make sure to coordinate your Energy and Power weapon slots so that you will always have two people with burn weapons.
For the boss kill we all ran Arc subclass - two Stormcallers and a Poledancer. In the final boss room, just wait for the Arc burn to come up and we melted him by popping all of our supers at once.
I'm always up for jumping in and playing if you see me online.

Got in after the queue and marionberry errors made me wait for about 20 minutes, and got in about 2 hours of playtime.

I played 2.5 hours this aft. I'm in pain! Neck, shoulder and headache. On top of that was the headset pushing against my hearing aids.
I remember I went through this ramping up to Raid sessions. My head has gotten soft from lack of abuse. Time to toughen it up.

One very minor instance in a PvP match. I don't remember the map.
One major instance (~3-5 seconds) near Devrim Kay. During a busy skirmish between Cabal, Fallen and Guardians
