Yes, in spite of all my clan hate speech in the past, I created 2old2play Primordials. That nasty Bungie is to blame.
"The 2old2play Community" Clan was full or near full for D1 and I knew some of the over 50 gang were without a Clan.
This Clan is for the purposes intended in Destiny 2. I have no interest in siphoning off members to some other site for general posting. I have no interest in creating an external forum like Bungie groups. We can continue discussions here.
The Clan name is not final until doodirock approves of the use of "2old2play".
"The 2old2play Community" is currently at 91 members and I felt that wasn't quite enough for growth to include over age 50 friends.
From this I assumed the clan limit was 100.
Option A: Upgrade to a Destiny 2 Clan
That makes sense. I was a member of 3 groups, one Halo and two Destiny, but now I am a member of only the Halo group -- so option A has been exercised on both D1 groups and they are gone and I am a D2 member of the clan I was a member of in D1. My head hurts...

Totally agree that we should purge the members list. I'm hoping that once the Clan features are up and running that we'll be able to easily see who's inactive. I'm sad to see so many of the over 50's leaving to make a new group, but I totally understand the lack of space issue. I hope we can get this worked out soon and bring all of you back into the fold.
It's a Destiny Clan. Not a Clan and were not going anywhere but here.
So, the Clan is live! We are at 1000/100000 points. Many things we do will get that number rising. Yay!

I think the only other thing we can accomplish is the Nightfall.

Wanted to bring this up because it happened to my on my other account. If you guys dont care dont worry about it.
Basically with smaller clans you wont get all the rewards that come for 80+ clans because of the time it takes to level up, get weeklys, and unlock perks. There are a lot of posts about it on reddit now with people complaining. You basically miss out on the speed of leveling and gurentee of all 4 weeklys completing while in a large group. Totally sucks and its happening to me right now....Person XP caps at only 5k..

We don't really know how long until the Season resets for clans, but I expect our smaller groups will get to Level 6 with a decent amount of play from dedicated individuals. Granted, the larger clans will get there much faster, but I'm hoping the season is long enough to let us all reap the rewards.
I'm sure Bungie is just watching to see how this all shakes out as far as the length of the Season, daily XP limits, level progression, etc.

Just read that the weekly 5k exp limit is actually per alt. Assuming that's correct, one clan member with three alts can produce 15k exp all by himself. This implies that a clan with as few as seven members could bump into the 100k per week clan XP cap.
Beat me to it Krak. 5k per character. Obviously that will take a little while at the start while each character is leveled up, but once at higher levels then the 5k per character should be fairly easy to obtain (for those who invest the time
).
I started my second character and hit my 5k limit rather easily just doing the campaign and whatever public events, adventures or lost sectors that happened to be around as I played.
So, yes, it's 5k per character per week.
Looks like our Clan is reaching the weekly cap before the weekend. I guess we've got nothing to worry about there.
Soon enough we'll be able to add the NF and Raid goals.

DEEP, Wulley and I got the nightfall boss about one third of the way down last night, and we were cheesing to even get that far. This week is a tough one.
This Nightfall is a major pain in the butt!! You almost need to know where all the anomalies are as you approach so no time is wasted looking for them. Wonder how much time we each player lost night before last looking for each anomaly. Also -- don't die (lol).
We reached our weekly cap for Seasonal points again last night. Excellent!
Yay!! Now we can all relax and do Nightfall
Nightfall this week seemed doable. We got to the boss on first attempt. Now to better learn the time management modifiers.
Time management this week: kill stuff. More kills = more time. Pick up stuff they drop to regen your heath
Haven't run it yet, but his might be the week to complete the Rat King quest
