I think a 2 second roll off, but don't know if it should be fastest at the back or front. We ran some Laps last night and the 2 sec roll off worked just fine. If you want to keep it closer for longer b would be the choice.
For the qualy lap will you run collisions off and win by lap time?
Fitzy does have a point. It would pretty much make the fastest guys the winners right from the start. Unless we split people by times in buckets and score buckets individualy. Say 4-4:09 in one bucket, 4:10-4:19 in 2nd bucket, 4:20-4:29 3rd bucket, 4:30+ 4th bucket.
I think, that we should take B! We all know, that in a 1,5 hrs race it is not the first corner or first round for winning.
So if we - the slow one's - are running our race and hold our line - that is, what I learned from those "older" racers: it is not good to make experiments or trying to let someone pass -, those aliens will have enough room, choices and pace to overtake us safely. I know, that it is stress to see a guy in the rearmirror, who is flying to you, but this guy is experienced enough.
JDan makes a great point. This isn't the 'B' room,
where newer guys seem to drive like they're racing
against the AI is season play with no damage on,
diving into into ever corner at full speed and using
the car in front as a brake. Church, Fitzy, KC, Jonny, etal. are all awesome AND PATIENT drivers that live
by the policy that any contact is the overtaking drivers
fault, and thus, they only pass safely after they've figured our what the guy in fronts tendencies are
and calling out their pass intentions.
Advice to slower drivers (like me) - drive your
race, hold your lines- the good drivers know
how to navigate though traffic cleanly and will
get through you just fine st the appropriate
pace on the track where passing makes sense.
Church I think the delay should be throughout the feild, that 2nd turn is tight, a group of cars going into it together is asking for trouble.
Maybe some practice starts to experiment?
Same here gunny. Hit some barriers at the first chicane then twenty minutes later the wheel lost connection and hit the second chicane. Limped it to the pits, came back out but the car was junk. Still had some fun. Thanks guys.
Here is the whole race, congrats to King Cobra on the win and Jonny for a well run race except for a mistake that gave his car aero dmg he couldn't overcome.
Great race guys I was chasing Nunder for the last 45 mins just couldn't get past and stay there, was right behind him when the race finished. Great racing Nunder made the 1.5 hours fly. Oh and Poidsly sexy accent I may have some interesting dreams tonight.
Option A works for me as well.
No mandatory pit stops.
But keep an eye on fuel
Seems like option A up to now
Option A works for me as well.
Also if anyone wants to get some practice in, I have a room open so feel free to pop in.
option A works for me too
A is ok, but giving Cobra, Church, jonny and Church a 1 second head start I'm not sure anyone would catch them.

JDANKERT
If we do buckets, based on Cooter's suggestion, please have more than a 1 second delay. That starting gride is very packed at this track
You can do individual roll off as well grim.
How about 2 Buckets.
Group A = Slower guys with 1 second delay
10 Second delay
Group B go with no delay.
Organize buckets when people are in the room who is faster and slower. Still do the flying lap though.
Keep the roll off for both groups IMO. If the gap between the two groups is possible then do that though.
So start time is 4:30 EST. ? IS there going to be two rooms?
Not sure on two rooms. Just depends on who turns up.
The plan with the room will be C but with a 2 min Gap from the fastest guys to the slower guys.
:( wont make this I just seen it 9:30 start and not 10 I'm out picking family up won't be back till 10ish oh well fish supper time :)
Gutted Stevie!
See you on the track soon.

Church, any plans for future endurance events?

Well done everyone, great racing
Well that was interesting. I didnt lose internet but I got booted from the room with 25 mins left
I think that I was the last one left in Room A from FMM racing, finished 5th. Was a great race, Fitzy should have had me.
I was there but was so far back you wouldn't have known lol
Congrats to everyone who finished the race!
@Snappy. Not sure tbh.I need to think of something to do next week yet lol
