Good racing for the most part. I don't hold getting bumped against anyone- it happens- I do it. But I would rather slow down than bump someone off the track. I don't race with this group to win, I race to race and to get better at handling these stock cars which I don't get to drive much.
In the last two races I got bumped -spun on the oval and went from 8th to last on the last straight before the finish and bumped off the track from behind on Infineon and had to race the last 6 laps out of contention. It's not as much fun hot lapping by yourself. It's gonna happen but with no cautions lets be as considerate as possible while racing to win.
Sorry Seeker, i think i did most of the bumping, i think we had magnets on our cars.
I know i bumped you at Infineon, i carried more speed into the hairpin, i eased off and expected you to accelerate when you got to the apex but i got on the power earlier than you.

Tomorrow the series heads to Europe for all 8 races.
The "Ovals" for this week are at the Top Gear track and the turn in points for these tracks are going to be interesting to say the least. We are all going to need to use good judgment and patience at these tracks while keeping your head on a swivel. The road courses are nice and big so should have plenty of quality racing. I look for Max to use the "home field" advantage to help him move up the standings.

Today we head to Germany and then back to the US. This week's races will feature 7 races instead of the normal 8 as we take on 3 laps at the famous Nordschleife. We also head back to the Benchmark speedway and take on a new track in Layout D. We also make our return back to the Sunset Speedway in the S700 build. This week should be a good week for Drivebye as I look for him to open his lead a bit.

I know i need more seat time, always do. Cant always make it.. Guess i just expected better of me after i felt i did pretty good sunday with the Clios. First time i felt "competitive" with this group. Guess i need to force RL to give me more time to play. Oh.. Do Saturdays as much as possible too. I agree with Jimee on this Gunny in that its all about seat time. You are getting better and you are right about Sunday. You ran the best I have seen you run in the Clio. Part of the problem last night was we ran some pretty rare tracks with the top gear tracks and even Alps and Mugello does not get the love like some of the other tracks do. Plus the IROC and the Clio are very different cars. Dont get so down on yourself. think back to where you were when you first started. Yes your finishing order may not have changed much but your hanging in there longer and the errors are fewer which is progress. If I ever see you online and Im running some laps, I'll send you an invite and you do the same with any of us.
Nearly a full room this week with 15 racers taking the green flag for most of the races last night. Also ran on some tracks that most of us have spent very little time on and in some instances it showed unfortunately. Overall though, it was a good night of racing for most of us and a few just seemed off their game last night. All that said, we had 5 different winners last night. Thanks to everyone who came out.

If you have RL and do other things, more power to you, enjoy it, this is just a game and when you can, come race. Enjoy that too. Don't take it to seriosly. I enjoy having you in the room it would be a loss for us not to have you there.
Some of us started out racing the AIs/friends and thought we were doing just fine and then along comes this club and just fine is now at the back of the pack. Now you question your ability. You are not the first and will not be the last.
Some of the faster guys just have a talent. Some work at it. Some spend a very long time turning laps to get mid pack. I am blue-collar. Work at it constanly.
OMG you totally did NOT affend me! A. I gotz thick skinz and B. I totally got where you were coming from. I take all criticism, critics, pointers and help serious. I just really really want to be a better driver. I have thoroughly enjoyed this group. Enough, i get in trouble with 2old2shoot hazing me I'm playing forza instead of cod or another shooter. I know without a shadow of a doubt it takes work and seat time. Just dont always have time for the seat. I guess i just felt like I finally "got it" after Sunday. I know the cars are different but it was just so easy/natural sunday I think i got over confident. I'll be back, just a knee jerk reaction. Now... Carry on and go race!

I have placed 3 tunes on my SF for tonight's races if anyone is interested or needs them.

So due to the lack of apparent interest, Im going to drop the power rankings and the pre &post race reports.
That said, working on the base tune now an will have them on my SF shortly for tomorrows races
