Spec Racing
2old2play.comSpec Racing league to prohibit tuning in all of our races. This combined with the fact that we race in the same cars produces a type of racing called "spec" racing. Spec racing ensures that success is determined solely by driving skill and not by differences in car power, gearing, suspension, weight, or aerodynamics. Because variables in the car are eliminated, spec racing is the truest measure of driver skill! It also produces intense battles for position because all of the cars are equally strong or weak in the same areas of the track. Another benefit of spec racing is that you'll never spend time tuning cars or wondering if someone is truly faster than you or if they just have a better tune.
Race Format
Our league night lasts for two hours and is split into three rounds. Each round consists of two races that last 10 to 12 minutes on a predetermined car and track combo. At the beginning of each round, a brief qualifying session determines the order of the starting grid. The first race is set to 'Fastest First' to reward the best qualifiers and the second race is set to 'Reverse Grid' in order to promote on-track action. Points are awarded based on our "point system. After a round is completed, we move on to the next round and repeat the same process with the next car and track combination. Once all three rounds are complete, we tally up the points and then let our interactive format kick in.
Rules
We expect all drivers to follow our Rules and pursue good racecraft at all times. If you're not sure what good racecraft is, watch this video. It can be summed up in one simple 'Golden Rule' of motorsports: It is the responsibility of the overtaking driver, meaning the car that is attempting to execute the pass, to make sure that the pass is made cleanly and incident free. If you don't agree with this rule or don't think it applies to you, this is not the league for you. If you ever feel like a driver is not following the rules, please wait until league night is over then file a race report.
Prizes
A prize is awarded to the winner with the highest scores. The winner with the highest score gets Prize A. The second highest score gets Prize B. The third highest score gets Prize C: (NOTE: The three prize winners' votes do not count towards the car/track elimination vote)
Prize A: The right to select the new car and track combo to replace the combo that was voted off
Prize B: The right to replace either the car or the track of the combo that received the second most votes
Prize C: The tie-breaking vote if the elimination vote results in a tie
Settings
All league settings are default unless noted below:
Boost: Off
Penalty: Weak (and Effective for Free Run)
Race Finish Delay: 90sec
Visible Damage: Off
Mechanical Damage: Light
Slipstream Strength: Real
Tire Wear/Fuel Consumption: Normal
Grip Reduction: Real
Vehicle Tuning: Prohibited
Driving Aids: Only ABS allowed
Tire Restrictions: (based on Dealership PP)
Street Cars
below 450 PP -> Sports Hards
450-499 PP ---> Sports Mediums
500 PP & up --> Sports Softs
Race Cars
below 600 PP -> Racing Hards
600 PP & up --> Racing Mediums
Have you looked at our race schedule and determined when these would take place or is this specific to one of GTPlanets races (based on all the links in the above post)? Does 2old2play have on-line racing rules that all leagues follow if not we could adpot the ORL from GTP an give them credit for the rule set up.

If you had looked further in the forum you would have spotted this, also it is customary to introduce yourself to the forum as with any forum so we know who your are, what you play and your involvement within the forum. I have noticed that you have asked for a race number so it shows you did read some of the forum topics at least.
Can you fill us in on the league you talk about.

Im here to start a successfull racing league for Gran Turismo with various racing formats like Nascar Pro/2old2play Spec Racing/RedBull Racing. I would like to build the best GT6 racing community for all levels of racing from rookies to seasoned sim racers. Looking for someone to help me out with this project here on 2old2play.
You have already joined the best racing community that play both Forza and GT6 amongst other games. Our schedule is already full with events with some great hosts with more planned.
You will also find the racers here are some of the best on any of the sim racing games and have been with 2old2play for a number of years, so if you are planning a new community i think you may be in the wrong place.
Listen dude if you have nothing good to say by your profile you are on xbox so please don't post on here this a ps3 racing league. Im kinda regretting not hosting on GTPLANET because of Aholes like you.
We dont split the forum just because some play GT and some play Forza, we are a bit more grown up than that. Most of the guys that play GT also play Forza and vice versa.
Also, we certainly do not go around calling people here Aholes, especially ones that are co-leaders.

If the boys haven't already booted you heed the advise from Grimm and Max and maybe you'll find the right place to host your event. In my respected brethren's behalf your GT6 league offer did come off a bit agressive and your subsequent responses to honest feedback was immature at best and that's coming from one of the more aggressive jerks around these forums.
So far you're not alone on that sentiment.
Your going to go down that path!!!!!!!!! I think you have stepped into something you may not fully understand. You have been around for all of a couple weeks and you are going to call one of our long time members and co-leader of our Euro division an asshole. We are one community that enjoys both platforms, We have been around for years and you come in and think you can just disregard the hard work we have done, you've got the wrong idea. I agree with Max, I think you are in the wrong place
All of us that organize races are doing so for the greater good of our club/garage/members here. Most of us play on both platforms and its not a GT vs FM attitude. It looks like you are trying to start your own club/community within an an already established community here. This is not GTPlanet that has separate races leagues/clubs. We are a single group of guys that look to improve this already existing club/garage. Our events are exclusive to members here at 2o2p and not open to anyone and everyone. We dont want this to be a public lobby of "timmys". Coming in here and stating you are trying to "start a successful racing league for Gran Turismo" in an area that has been doing this for years is insulting to all of us that have put in hundreds of hours of hard work to make this what it is today. A group of like minded guys enjoying racing in organized events with fellow members here at 2o4f.
How would you feel if you had worked hard to put together your club and then have someone come in and try to start another club with no regard to what has been established. That is what you are doing and then to top it off, you start calling a long time and well respected member that has put many hours an asshole is unacceptable.
Yeah so a good way to be booted from a community is by joining then with in a week calling a long standing member an Asshole.
