Not quite what your looking for but in the game if you go to your weapons in the choose skin pane, you can highlight each skin and its shows you a thumbnail of what that skin looks like. I guess might call it a see it before you buy it.
I purchased Oilslick and, in my opinion, it's kind of lame. The animation is difficult to see unless you really pay attention. In fact, I only wanted to purchase one animated skin and decided on Oilslick but I was so disappointed with it that I purchased another skin - Team Metal.
Granted, I play on an older TV with a smaller screen, so it might look better on a nice TV.
If I ever get to play with you guys and you want to see the skin, let me know.

Have to admit I bought the rainbow - and I'm quite happy with it. Something about the animation.
Would love to see the oilslick in game I think that maybe my favorite.
If you search youtube, you should be able to find some videos where people show all the skins in-game. I recall the oilslick looking good.
