New trailer just released:

Big celebrity face involved, action looks like Crysis with a primitive version of the suit...could be cool?

+10 points for Kevin Spacey

- 3 points for clumsy cultural synergy ( is that really a word ? )

-8 points for anything touched by Sledgehammer ( as a PC player )

-5 points for looking like the same tired crap

Total =  -6 points.

It will sell millions and executives and hookers will profit and party. FPS fans will feel like the hookers after the executives are finished with them devil

Am I shithouse crazy or did it look like TitanFall?  Super jumps, cloaking, etc...just no titans?

ive liked all the iterations over the years, so will probably like this as well...also I love TitanFall so maybe this is going to be an ideal game...I just expected something more I guess...can't even tell you what 'more' means, but I left that video feeling let down somehow and that is before any details on the game are even released.

I thought the same thing when I saw it. The climbing walls and the exosuit especially. If I'm not mistaken the TF guys are ex-COD guys so I assume it was intentional.

The trailer looked pretty sweet, but I doubt I'll start into that whole COD universe.

Looks like a cross between COD, HALO and TITANFALL.

I suppose this is what it takes to keep selling games.

Yeah all of the climbing and super-jumps that are enabled by the exo-skeletons are going to evoke comparisons to Titanfall for sure.  Watch the IGN rewind theater for the trailer too, it mentions a mech-like suit that your soldier can jump in too.

I'm sure EA is going to see this and ensure that some kind of followup to Battlefield 2142 comes out in the next year or two for sure, and I think they'll look like the biggest latecomer to the whole futuristic warfare paradigm shift.

I've decided to stick with COD "proper," if you will.  Not going to mess with these anymore, sticking with Activision.

Looks cool, but the off brand developer versions don't interest me anymore.  At most will rent just for campaign.

All I see is CoD ripping off Titanfall with the parkour, mechsuit, and evil corporation (they even named it the PMC) with a bit of Halo by stealing Promethean Vision in that infrared grenade.
