Classic GP cars at Indianapolis Oval
Has anyone picked up the DLC1939 Maserati GP car?
If so, would any of you be interested in running at Indy? Let me know.
Hey guys, here is the build:
1939 Maserati 8CTF
Street Brakes
Race Springs and Dampers
Race ARB's Front and Rear
Race Roll Cage
Race Differential
Sport Tires - Front width = 165/85R19. Rear width=205/70R19
Hope to see you guys tonight for some oval racing!
Awesome, what is a good time for you. I am in the Eastern US. What time zone are you in?
Id like to run the '67 Brabham as well, if you've got that one. I've got basic tunes for both cars. Actually, there are quite a few open wheel cars that would be fun to race.
I can run with you Snappy. The only night I can't make it is Tuesday, until the end of August.
After August, my bowling league night is Monday.
I might join in depending on day and time.
How about Sunday or Monday night, guys? Say about 9pm and run for about an hour or so? I'm thinking two 30 lap races...
Sunday @ 9 (EDT) is perfect for me Snappy. Are we starting this weekend?
Yes, we can meet up. I'll share the tune just before we start or I can post up the build and guys can tweak on their own. I'd like to do a couple 20 lap races. Should be fun.
I updated the OP with the build information.
That was fun guys. Thanks for the races. See you next week.
That was lots of fun. We need more racers!
If anyone is still interested I will be on tonight at 9:30 ish to do some more open wheel stuff at Indy. I'd like to start with a 25 lap race after some warm up racing and 5 laps of qualifying. Then we can try some other stuff out. We will be using the '67 Brabham GP car. I'll be googling some images of 60's Indy Cars for paint ideas. Any requests?
No one was around.
Was at the movies last night.
