Community for the upcoming Xbox One release
So I haven't really seen too many people on Minecraft in the last few months. Yeah I'm guiltly of that too. But I'd like that to change once Minecraft gets released on the Xbox One. Especially once we can get servers. Btw what I've read it's going to be out on the 19th.
I'd like to see who has plans on playing when it's released and who would like a server. I'm willing to fund a server if there is interest. I'd like to have a community that does projects together, has contests for bragging rights, etc. If you've seen the videos from Mind Crack server or the Rooster Teeth guys you know what I mean.
So if you're in post here. Let's get some ideas going!
I plan on getting it on release. Been playing the 360 version but plan to start a new world with the release.

Xbone version is out right now.
So, it doesn't have servers, and it isn't 1.8. I'm not upset, I'm just mildly disappointed.
I still played for, like, 4 hours last night, though.
Yea they had said at launch will only be 8 player multi and then later on will be changes with a patch. Hopefully not too long. I've been having fun with 1.8 on the pc especially with incraesi g the size of ore spawn. Now I can have more fun without have to focus on diamond and red stone hunting.
Yeah, Minecraft has always been a couple of games wrapped up into one. the over arching one is an open sandbox where you can build stuff, but have to manage hunger. The other is more of an endgame/increased efficiency where you have to hit diamonds for portals and enchantments and such. The chore of finding the actual diamonds seems to be, well, a chore. Diamonds should be rare, but not exceedingly so. I've played one 1.8 map,and I've done well with diamonds, scraping by with the bare minimum dug out, but leaving more in the ground there as ore to wait for when I get a Fortune pick.
I'd love to see 1.8 on the Bone real soon.
Ok so I started a map on 360 then uploaded it but the increased size isn't applied to it. So I just re-created it using the same seed. *sigh* At least I hadn't really done anything except start a mine. Anyway I'll try to be on late tonight and during the day this weekend. This is the map I'd like to turn into a server but I'm not sure if that'll be possiable. In the meantime I hope you guys will jump in with me!

Sorry if I had a computer that would run Minecraft well I'd already be on the PC version. Till then I'll be on the Xbox One. Maybe I'll get around to building one sometime soon.
Enjoying this on the xboxone at the moment. Anyone else playing?
