As far as I know, we on't have any drift funers in the group. I could be wrong though. Drifting has just never been that big of a thing with out crew. Although I enjoy it occasionally, there's never been much interest.

I've started messing round with drift tunes, mainly cause I've I started getting into doing drift paint, I've been using diff accel 100 n decel 90. Tyres front 28 and back 25 this is to make them both 32 when warm, and a lot of toe and camber.

I have been drift tuning since fm2.  The real key is the build.  Maximum torque, smallest worst tires, and short gears.  I usually drift in 3rd 4th 5th gears as well.  I have a few drift tunes on my sf that are pretty good. And a learner tune up there as well. V

That sounds great nasties, is ur forum name the same as your gamer tag? Will give them a look, I've noticed that horse power isn't such a big thing in drifting like you said the build and set up are far more important. Things like running 28 psi front and about 25 psi rear can end up with both sets of tyres running 32 psi but they are only start pressures as fine tuning is needed with each car. Been messing with toe in and out, found that using quite alot of these can help, my rx7 runs front 3.0 toe out and 2.9 toe in rear, a neutral suspension set up also helps with car control I think. Am I on the right line here lol I'm always open to advice or crit.

I have been running Drag slick wide rear thinner front.

Why Drag Slicks?? Well, the drag slicks give u grip in the straights yet loose when you are in Slide mode...

It'sthe camber toe how to set up your torque and do i mess with springs and Anti that kills me...

Also D1 drifting is no engine swaps, Stock brakes 5 point Roll cage and 450-650 BHP so, I try to stay in these lines

Cars I hate to drift with is the Mazda's they just sound like fart cams and feel luggish to me.

AWD anyone can toon those they just are not as cool in 4 as they were in 3. Monkey I have a nive Drift Monkey vinyl group if you do not have one as well as an angry monkey.

Also have a ton of other Drift Vinyls if anyone is interested. along with some others Japense, star wars looney toons, family guy, loads of random stuf.

I am on look out for snakes, skulls, celebrities, flames, Animi, grafetti and nascar stuff, if anyone wants to send trade or sale.

I use street of sport tyres as most drift comps do not allow race tyres. As for suspension there is a thread on the forza forum that uses a calculation, e.g race springs max 1000 and min setting 100 , car balance 52% front. So the calculation goes 1000 - 100 = 900, 900 x .52 = 468, 468 + 100 = 568 front spring.when doing rear the calculation would be same apart from the car balance wich would be 48%, when x the number you must put it in as point fifty two ( .52 ) and not just fifty two. This can be used for springs, roll bars and rebound. It seems to give a neutral set up that can then be tweaked to suit the drive. Looking in to real world drift setups and online drift tunes it seems that front casters are set at max ie 7 with front camber being anything from 2.0 to 3.0, rear is driver pref. as for toe front can be set from 1.0 to 3.0 toe out, while rear seems to be best left or only a little added ie 0.5 toe in max. Tyres should when up to temp should both be 32psi, I et this by starting with front 28psi and rear 25psi the adjust as needed until both tyres run 32ish psi at operating temp. Ride hight is driver pref but lower the better, I set my front a few clicks higher than the rear to compensate for short hard breaking at the start of a drift. Hope some of this helps.

Oh and my guide isn't really aimed to D1 spec drifting. Mainly open style.
