I'm simply hoping this will spur Blizzard into patching controller support into the pc version. Though I doubt I will do anymore playthroughs until the expansion is released. After playing through it completely twice with all classes I was too burned out on the repetitive story.

Will Xpadder work?
I've tried Pinnacle profiler but like a lot of games there is always that hint of lag using those middle man programs to shoe horn controller support into them. Not sure if Xpadder would work better but I will give it a shot.
It plays very well on the console. I'm playing on the xbox. The menus are tripping me all up since I was used to the PC version but it seems to work.
Of course the graphics are not as good but the game play is smooth. I had trouble at fist getting the game to play on my 2009 macbook pro, so it was nice to just put the disk in an play without fiddling with settings.
The buttons are mappable. So both triggers, bumpers, buttons can be mapped to your liking.
The game will auto target for a couple items like grenades for the DH, or grasp of hands for the WD.
The Multiplayer is just easy with xbox live. Just join in progress or leave. It will host migrate when the host leaves the game.
Drop rates are increased. I'm on act 2 on normal and already have two legendary items and couple yellows. But that is expected since you don't have the auction house on the console. Its only what you find your your friends do.
This is my first Diablo game to play and so far I'm enjoying it. The camera is different from what I'm use too but didn't take long to adapt. Now I can't wait to get home this weekend so I can do some coop.
I have it for the 360, and have been playing it offline co-operative, and it's been pretty fun so far; I only played Diablo on the Playstation 1 ( don't think it was on PS2 ???) so that's my only experience. Didn't really know anything about the classes for this game, so I just choosed the Witch Doctor, who had some pretty cool spells.
Haven't tried the game, playing MP with other people online yet; don't know if you find more rare items that way or not ????
I heard this was co-op, with local multiplayer. Couch multiplayer is the best stuff!

I picked this up because the girlfriend wanted to play it. It is good couch multiplayer.
