Well I have been running F1 2011 on the pc. I have rfactor2 beta and can't wait for that to be released. It runs really well and I think there will be a lot of chances for some fun series on it.
Heh congrats on sneaking in not sure how long this will be here as the forum is not yet constructed but yeah man rF2 is one of the best driving experiences I have had yet. Megans and Clios are my faves at the moment and the AI even at this stage can be fun to run with. Many a happy hour spent especially after the last update
Ahahaha I saw ammodawg's avatar out of the corner of my eye in the trending topics thingy and I really thought I had a bug on my screen. I tried to squish it

Just a thought...since we're going to be covering so many different sims, it might be worth trying to get people in the habit of identifying the sim at the front of the title.

Ex:
[rFactor] blah blah blah blah
[Race07] blah blah blah blah

That sounds like a plan
I am just typeing a sert of forum rules up now and will include this to them.

Congrats guys!
I'll set up the tuning shop when I get a second this afternoon, i haven't posted A photo in the new forum yet, do we still have to use a photo hoster?
Would it be best to do a sticky for each sim title so we don't end up with 30 threads for each sim ?
The current Sims iam playing are race 07 and pcars....I know not too many people are playing race 07 but I can start that one up and post a helpful starting guide, info and links to mod site etc. If u would like?
Iam sure rf1 will end up in my pc shortly too, I'd like to be able supply some tunes for members
Cheers
As the sims get more of a following, it's not going to be practical to try to keep all discussion locked in 1 thread. It would be fine for general discussion, but as you get into specific game setup, tip & tricks, available mods or even series info...information would get lost and become hard to find as threads get to a dozen pages and more (I wouldn't be surprised to see an rFactor thread get there pretty quick w/ the number of guys that are running it).
I could see a sticky for a "[insert sim here] General Discussion" for each sim, but we should probably look at realistically how many stickies we want to end up with. A sticky for every sim may be too much.
I would lean towards keeping the stickies that are relavent to multiple sims, just so the front page isn't taken up w/ stickies.
Possible stickies (1 sticky ea w/ links to sites):

Hey Kurupt. I sent you a fr on steam. I installed race07 . I will be getting into some races over at race2play. If you see me on send me an invite. I would love to turn some laps with you guys. Also new to the game .Any advice would be great.
Hey Church. I was just thinking. Perhaps to save you a little trouble, we should still keep the event schedule for both clubs combined. Then all you'd have to do is post a likn here. Plus that way folks can stay up to date with goings on in both clubs without haveing to go to different places.

I was thinking the same thing. It will also let everyone see what is running, where and on what platform.
I need to update the Forza side though as the links will no longer work now. Will do that tonight

Good lord yes, it is working fine and no need to reinvent the wheel, and thanks for your encouragement Cotter, we have a long way to go to mirror the success of the Forza group and we are happy for all the help we can get.
Church as you know I am away tomorrow till sometime Monday so you go with whatever you feel is right and I will get up to speed on my return.
This is going to be a more chat and information forum for a good while, there are many other places organizing races and we are just a place where folk can get pointed in the right direction and with the people we have joining a great help resource for site members getting into the PC racing scene.
I would like to see our tuning group with their own sub forum as in 2O4F, a linear thread could get very complicated trying to keep track of requests and replies and exchanges of info.
I think GBR should have a stickie and tORN, individual Sims at the moment just threads with a stickie with links to the main relevant sites for them all.
We will slowly develop over time, and need not get too hung up on what goes where, that will become apparent over time...ie our members will tell us what they want by how they use the forum.

Greetings fellow PC sim racers. Be weary round these parts......I hear there may be Raider fan amoungst us whose name starts with zero. Tread with caution.
Look forward to having another place to talk trash and spread rumors! :)
So, I've been watching this grow and grow and the only thing holding me back is the install/setup.
but it looks like it may be time to jump in, do you have a schedule of your races/practices etc..., if they are during my allowable GF approved times I might jump in

Great to see the site up and running.
Kurupt, I can't wait to try some of your tunes in RF1. If you can tame that V8SC, it will be awesome.
