Looks good Church but you do like things complicated don't you :) ... why go through the extra effort of "averaging" peoples finishing scores when the total points (having dropped worst 9 finishes) provides the same results?

I question this as an anal nit picker and a lazy person.

I suppose on paper it will look better.

Instead of drivers having a massive lead involving hundreds of points there AVG score will only be a few points up ect.

And Jdan. Dont worry about it fella laugh

Only if you have a "shrubbery" JD! Otherwise it falls under "Parcels" and should most likely be ignored.

Note to self: After this post, never use the word "anal" in the 2O4F forums ever again.

I try not to use the words "anal" and "picker" anywhere in the same sentence...

LOL, welcome to T-10...

I just get banned from their forums, usually an annual event.

Crazy as that is, I've never had an issue with the storefront.

I hope you got banned for something worthwhile.

For example, if you used the following combination of words and got banned, you have done a worthy thing....Dragnet, anal and nit picker work nicely together.

Oh, Dragnet and I are old buddies...I once started a petition to get him to change his signature because implied cursing is against the forum rules...

Think again bud...your qualy time will put you in the same group unless of course you sandbag but you would never do that so looking forward to racing with ya!

For all intended purposes we could split the faster drivers from the slower ones based on what we know and at worse there would be a small handful of people that "may" end up in the wrong room...Like Poidsly, there's another half a dozen guys on the list that are faster than Parcells as my rightful place is with the bottom feeders of the fastest group.

You won't get sandbagging from me. Think I had that surgically removed at birth.

BTW Parcells - in the last couple of days you have talked about all sorts of things posterior related. Today it's "bottom feeders" ;)

Sorry about that fellas. Been watching a lot of porn lately involving penetration of that word I promised not to use in the forums any more and I guess its subconciously come out in some of posts blush

I am assuming that if its split into rooms based on ability there will be no need for handicap systems at all? In anticipation am aiming for room 3...............

Am thinking also the replay coverage will be interesting and somewhat complicated with multiple rooms, perhaps a division 1 and 2 championship? Does the euro forza club have a torn tv style channel lol

Tbh I don't need a time of most drivers because as you say parcells past history tells  what room they will be in.

So what I will do is split the rooms tonight and put the drivers where I think they should be and then put a list of names up that need to put a qualification time in.

Anyone can still put a time in just to make sure I was right but I will change the driver placements when the event starts if needs be.

To answer deads question about handicaps, when the rooms are split the handicaps will work more effectively as the lap times should be closer and it should produce more winners over the season.

Also please note the qualification track is Silverstone national (the smallest one)

Cheers
