To be able to call on such capable drivers is of huge benefit to the team. The 2014 season will be a period of great changes and with many great series. JDRT wants to play a major role in all team competitions. For doing so it was important to expand the driver lineup.
JDRT 2013’s drivers
“I am very proud that nearly all “old” JDR racers have renewed / extended their contracts. Church, Mapo, Antz and Stevie were absolutely great as single racers and as team members. We are on a very good way!
Only Knight will leave us. Sometimes life brings changes and he has decided not to race in our series anymore. I thank him very much for his support in 2012/2013. If he ever wants to come back, I will buy him a racecar.
Now that all contracts are printed and signed, we are the team with most drivers for 2014! I don’t see anywhere more very fast guys and more racers with great attitude, abilities and future as in JDRT.”
JDRT will establish a trainingsgroup session on a fix date and time. More than in other teams the drivers can develop their racing and tuning skills in union. The last months made clear that racing fast is all about seat time, but sometimes competitive racing in series is not the ideal training environment.
“I will organize “JDR racing seminar’s” for learning tracks, cars and tricks! And by the way we will build up our team tactic skills.”
What will it be - 2014?
"My job is to do the best I can for the team, to protect the team's interest and every employee's interests within the team, as well as the drivers," said JDANKERT. "My focus is to do the best I can for JDRT, and if that means you're not the most popular, or you're not invited out for dinners, then I don't care."
JDANKERT further understands in a world dominated by social media just how quickly perceptions can be formed and voiced.
"When you've competitive drivers, of course you're going to get issues that sometimes will get turbulent. You don't achieve wins and titles without there being discipline, without there being organization and without ticking every single box, especially against the quality of opposition we're competing against." , added JDANKERT.
“What makes me wonder a lot is, that no other team has published any news in the last weeks. May be they are struggling very hard? From today on I am very relaxed and will calmly monitor their responses to our “next big step”.”
I would appreciate a tune Grimm (SF or club garage??), I have tweaked the tune a little but I suck at tuning and feel there is a lot of time I am losing. If there is room today I may be able to make it in, but dont let me take a regulars spot, I am more than willing to back out for a regular attender.
Due to excessive training this week there has been a major incident involving MPR driver AMber2green0968 :
On training for Saturdays Nurburgring GP AMbers car has accurred excessive engine overhaul,so unfortunatly he will have to take a DNF to todays two races.
MPR Boss "Max",Quoted : 'Its not a problem',I'm sure we will have AMbers car firing on all cylinders for next Saturdays races.
Sorry guys. I stepped beside, but finally made some points. In the last rounds of race two the lag got better and better. At the end I was able to hear you clear. What is going on here? My internet connection is stable. No changes on router or anything. I don't understand that.
Was I the only one with lag issues or was the xbox live connection someow bad for others too?
Good stuff guys with a great turnout. Great to see this getting the love even with FM5 and GT6 in the hands of some of the guys (including myself). Also thanks for your patience with the lobby issues while we tried to get everyone in. That said, it was well worth it as we had some great racing (except when I decided to tag AttackingHill) as I simply locked my brakes. Sorry about that.
Hey guys, since my Xbox shit the bed today (just before the BTCC race) and is dead (no lights, no sounds, no nothing). I wont be able to host the race or provide ongoing support going forward with regards to tunes and paints. I cant justify spending money on another system for which I only play one game on now that FM5 and GT6 are now options which sadly means my FM4 days are over. I can still support the standing sheet so if anyone can take over hosting the series and send me the results, I'll keep it updated.
That sucks Grim. Srry to hear it. I'd look into a 360 though since I think you'll find the organized FM5 activity might be low for awhile. You can get them for like $180 now new.
Thanks guys, however since I just spent over 250 on the PS3/GT6 the other day (which was a hard sell with the wife), there is no way I can ask for another 150 for a replacement 360 right now. The best I could do would be to look for it in January sometime. Not to mention that if the HD is damaged, losing all my tunes and paints would be depressing enough.
