Next week is the final races. Keep in mind I am not counting myself in the standings... I will be running another series after this is done. I may stick with Tuesdays, or switch to whatever may generate the most racers. My next series won't be as long, but it should be very fun. Stay tuned...
I'm looking at the Australian group A cars, I don't think they had divisions. So we would have the R32 GTR, E30 M3, RS500 cossie, all around 500-550 hp.
I sat down after work today with a cold 40oz and began developing these Group A cars and so far the RS500 and M3 are pretty evenly matched but the R32 with it's AWD at that hp level is just too fast. I would have to downgrade it a lot to be competitive with the the others, which I would rather not do. Also, I was going no aero on these, which makes the RS500 and M3 a handful to say the least. They're fast and very drivable if you like cars that want to kill you, but I'm afraid this may scare some away from participating so I've decided to do this next short little series with just the R32 GTR, built to full Group A specs. Full race trim, 550 bhp, AWD, no aero... It's a beast, but still very manageable.
So there's the pitch. Thoughts are welcome as always. When this next one is through I may do another short one with a different Group A car, just to keep some more events going in Forza 4.
Congrats to Drivebye, D Brown, Fitzy and CProRacing on wining races yesterday. Below are the current standings

Sounds good and sounds like fun. Maybe we can get an update on Tuesday during practice?
I'm looking at a Saturday time slot maybe around 3 or 4pm EST so the Euro guys can run the Group A R32s with us.
Drivebye said around 3 - 4 pm EST so that means 8 - 9 pm GMT
Are MPR involved in this Boss ?
Drivebye are there any idea of tracks being used.........i guess you'll pick full circuits !
Yeah the usual full circuits, Catalunya, Nurburg GP, Road America etc...
I've thought long and hard and decided to let MPR participate
..........lol
@Max: up for a battle again, as the one we had last week on Road America? ;)
