They're BACK!!! I thought I'd steal this old series and revive it as I did not have an XBone when this was first run and I know there are a few more with the console now so looking forward to a big turn out. The format is essentially the same but with different tracks and race night set up. For all the information, I am changing the OP layout to save some space and play around with some of the editing stuff, so for the specifics there are Spoilers under each title which will give you all the details.

Event Rules:[Spoiler]
The Basics:
1. All cars to built as specified above
2. This is a NON-Contact event. However lightly rubbing or leaning on another car is allowed as long as it doesn't result in rubbing the other car into:
A) A Wall or Barrier
B) A 3rd/4th Car,
C) A totally different direction
D) Anything too aggressive that may prompt your opponent to submit a complaint against you.
3. Cosmetic damage will be enabled.
4. Should anyone arrive prior to the completion of the first lap, we will restart the race
5. Cautions will be in place up to lap 3 (usual caution rules apply).
6. Each race night will consist of One 45-50 Minute race.
7. Your lowest 1 race point will be removed from your final score.
8. Any cars found not to be built to spec and that have raced will be banned for the rest of the season
9. All paint jobs must feature the drivers racing number.
10. Any complaints must be made to me by Private Message here on 2Old2Play within 24 hours of the race finish.

Build/Tune Rules:
- All participants cars must be built to the specifications as laid out by the series coordinator as in the build list above.
- Tuning is allowed on any adjustable parts that may be on the car except for the final drive which is set to 3.50. No replacing/adding of parts.
Racing Etiquette:
- Race Clean and give room
- No Cutting corners
- No Blocking, racing line is not blocking
- Make sure you call your intent

Depending on the time of day, I'm in for this too.
I'm thinking of maybe doing this one eveing in the week or on Sunday when theres a space as theres a few series that are looking at starting soon on FM4 but could run back to back depending on what people want to do need to have a think but will be starting between 8-10pm UK Time (BST/GMT)
Due to me being in GMT-5 I am unable to do it during weekdays but Sunday is good, 9pm GMT starting time would be perfect; 10pm is workable.
Tentitively looking at 21:00 or 22:00 on a Sunday evening so just after the main sunday slot may possibly say half 9 as sometimes the 8pm race runs over so seems logical

Anyone's got a target time on a test track?
I gave it a quick test at CatSchool and got 0:52 (I think . . .)
Had a weird glitch last night. Tried to add the Turbo and it would not let me put it on my existing Mini; it was stuck at D300. Bought a new Mini and it worked.
I needed some reference times to gauge the tune so I just added more power to D340 to make it D400, change final drive to 3.00, then ran it an IndyGP and got #290 in Rivals. I would say it is competitive.
Using the widest width tire at the front resulted in excessive front grip, resulting in corner entry oversteer. For the Indy run, I reduced the front width and it performed much better.
For D340 spec build with full front width, I'm trying to see if the corner entry oversteer can be tuned out using suspension/tires . . .
TBH I didnt make the build i simply took this build from the one max used in the last Mini Series I agree the Final gear ratio for the mini seems a bit long but still works i feel
Snoop, 3.50 will work just fine for D340 build.
ok cool ill leave it at that then just sorting traks out now so by time you read this you'll have a track list
im currently looking for a team to join for this. anyone have an opening ? cant really tune or paint but can drive lol
Im sure there are openings in most teams as we are all still split between FM4 and FM5 You can run as a privateer if you want not team rullings in this event :)

So, the shakedown is tomorrow . . . I can race for about an hour!
Guys I am really sorry but I am highly unlikely to make this tonight due to unforeseen circumstances, If i cant get there for 10 get started and ill see if i can join in.
No worries snoop. Three of us did a few laps. Is it worth swapping catalunya national for the school circuit? Its a bit shorter a more fun in these cars.
Will look at this in the week as need to finalise stuff this week (no thanks to work taking all my time) and will probably swap it out
